You want to live a good life; getting too much money will probably insure that you will miss out on everything else. Most people want to have at least a decent amount of money so that they can live without constantly worrying about finances... but then, they don't overwork themselves and they enjoy themselves with said money. The point of that comment was the fact that RATM doesn't try for any extra or doesn't let the company change their sound. Sony is just a puppet, they don't know what they're doing, they don't have an agenda, they're not evil in the way of the real agenda masters are. So in what way is RATM helping the evil grow? They gave a company some millions of dollars with their talents, so what? Without RATM, I know millions of people who would not be in the fight right now.

Sony is a model of the practice of capitalism. The owners or bosses are in the model of capitalism for more money. They don't have an agenda, they have a business solution but no population controlling agenda, unless I don't know, Sony is the real puppet master behind all of our problems as a business entity. While they do represent the machine they're just their for our distraction and entertainment, not an oil company who holds influence over governments.
