  • Holy shit! This is phenomenal! I'm so glad I found this. JPJ is the best Rock bass player to ever strap on the instrument, and certainly the most underrated musician within Zeppelin. As much as I hate to say it, Page's strength wasn't his lead playing, but his writing and arranging. Warren can handle Jimmy's lines with ease and Jones sounds awesome as usual, It's such a shame Jones didn't tour with Plant/Page. Peace -Dave

  • mule is amazing in concert. xmas jam is a great show!

  • man that is awesome someday I will see the mule and especially with a legend ss72

  • I'm going to see them in October. :D

  • John Paul Jones is one of the most talented musicians to ever walk the earth.

World's finest bass player. Every Led Zeppelin fan should check his solo stuff, it's great.

Them Crooked Vultures are gonna make 2009's best record.

    Rock on, Jonesy!

  • @iuricastro22 John Paul Jones is a good bass player, far as solo bass player he is no good

Check... BASS DAY UK 2008 Hadrien Feraud......Hadrian is a solo bass player Numero Uno

    And listen to the end!

  • I always felt that JPJ and John Entwistle were the most quietly rock solid foundations of any rock groups, ever!!! Mule owns.

  • With a purple umbrella a fif. cent hat... I was dancing! Loved that!

    Terri:)

  • @terriistuesdayschild Aaah, they don't write 'em like THAT anymore! (BtW, I'll have a pint of what he was having when he wrote that!!! LoL)

  • This was BY FAR one of the BEST shows I had EVER been to.. IT WAS AMAZING!!! It was my first Mule show and still my favorite!! I'm a huge Zeppelin fan so this was a treat! Everything was right on! They jelled nicely. Thank you for sharing this video...

  • Lucky!!!!!!!!!!

  • LMAO at those dissing Warren. I was at this show and listen to the soundboards with the jams. The jams were sickness. This is a two minute clip of a what was probably a 10 minute song. The show was like 4 and a half hours.

  • If Zep are going to go with another vocalist, I nominate Warren Haynes.

  • two ping tickie utube loves the livin

  • BAdass show and a great weekend all around

  • I was nodding out on the ground by the handicapped seating area smoking bowls of pinapple kush and sweet island skunk during this.

  • nice job, i jsut saw govt. mule and tea leaf green at innsbrook after hours. it was a great show.

  • government mule are the best band out there . squeeze my lemon must have been on the way to the miley cyrus show and got lost .

  • You suck. Everytime I've seen Mule they rocked. Peter Frampton needs to take that talk box and bury it with his old ass.

  • I agree. Frampton's talk box gets old. Warren's playing never gets old, always something new and interesting to hear from these guys. Love this guys work!!!

  • ok. I saw mule live too and I love them more than anything. But don't you dare rip on Frampton you insolent piece of shit.

  • I agree, while I was not a huge Frampton solo fan, he was a founding member of The Great "Humble Pie" before most of you were flingin' shit at one another!

  • Oops missed the rest of my point which was to lighten up on Pete, take a look at the Steve Marriott(An Rock & Roll Legend) tribute stuff on y.tube and then tell me he cant play....Btw this is not to say I dont dig Warren, I think hes great too...

  • @jknight824 Mule is my fave band at the moment, but I don't see why you should talk like this about pf, he's a great musician and man, anyway he deserves respect!!

  • sweet combination

  • the instrumentals are superb, this song is too far out of warren's vocal range though. meant for someone that reach higher. i salute them for doing a respectable job for this classic.

  • Can't agree with that. This song is perfect for Warren. It is out of MY vocal range though.

  • I wonder what j p Jones was doing in this ???

  • bass?

  • The people here wouldn't know great rock or guitar if it hit them in the head. Mule Rocks Warren Haynes Rules.

  • I saw G. Mule in Greenville in 1996...they sucked

  • Decent. But JPJ bass could have/should have been louder in the mix.

  • Give 'im a break; it's a videocam from the back of the room, not MTV.

  • Exactly. Nothing like the show sounded like I bet

  • awesome!

  • like a freakin garage band

  • Crazyest show ever
