wow, this is a lighter , tuned 335i that is known to be crazy when tuned and the previous generation cls63 still walked it. im ordering a 2012 cls63 next week. cant wait!!!

bot cars pretty nice but that 6.2 benz engine is a beast. I currently have cayenne turbo and am looking to get cls63. I drove test drove 09 cls63 and it is very fast. 335i is nice but it is like a civic with a turbo.

this is quite out of peeformance for a JB3. JB3 should have give you a better race till around 140 MPH , and he is lying if he said he took an M5 unless the M5 wasnt running on M mode. if you dont knw what M mode is, it mean when it is off the M5 does arounf 400 HP to the crank and with that M botton ON it does over 500 HP so do the math

I have 09 C63AMG and 09 335xi jb3 map 7 with some other tunes... what a beast. the 335 becomes with a $600 juicebox. Both cars are equally matched but the awd 335xi kills everything around off the line. Mine hits 60 in 3.7 secs while the C63 spinnnnssss with no traction. On the highway,,, I love to eat m3s m5s m6s, camaro ss with both cars :)

@Ronno1010 it's crazy how unknown the N54 is to most "car people". I'm not usually a fan of someone bragging about a car because of what it COULD be with some tuning, you can make a Honda fast if you really want to, but it's crazy how easy it is to crank the power up to 11 with the N54. $600 can't even get you a decent exhaust, yet with just that and 45 minutes you can turn a 335i into a sleeper M3 killer, it's CRAZY! A JB3, intake, and exhaust and you're virtually untouchable. I <3 my 335i :)

@69until96 Not really. The brand new C class is just catching up to the outdated 3 series, and the 3 is due for a brand new car in 2012. The S class, while VERY nice, isn't nearly as well equipped and nicely appointed inside as the redesigned 7 series. The brand new E class WAS nicer than the 5 series until BMW released the 2011 5 series. It's like a baby 7 series, it's incredible inside. Not knocking Merc, I love their cars, and if their interiors were nicer I'd trade my BMW in a heartbeat.

They said the cls had giant chrome 22's with a passenger no launch and in D mode not even in sport and the car is stock whilst the 335 is modded and launched and was solo and still lost. you guys need to stop being on bmw's dick and open up your mind a little. and to the person who said they'd rather have a 335 then a cls63 I hope you get yourself some help(mentally).

This is my 335 when i raced this kid i had no muffler which every1 is trying to say straight piped i thouhgt i was gaining power by air coming out quicker but i recently had muffler put on my car and when speaking to the guy at the shop who is a professional he told me i was def. losing power up top and all u amg guys talk so much shit any of you live in ny let me know if u wanna run your shits guarantee a diff outcome.. oh yea also added more mods

you sure about that? my friend (oldbooster) has run his 135i in the quartermile at 11.36 @ 124 with a small 28 shot of nitrous. Without nitrous...11.63 @ 119.7 he also ran a 11.39 @ 124 on street tires. Its funny because there is only 3 TUNED c63s faster than his non nitrous run. None are faster than his nitrous run though. 11.483 @ 121.5 is the fastest on dragtimes. but stock the c63 is running low 12s which is what a lot of jb3 335i's are running. not to mention we are still on stock snails

This is my 335 i had the lead all the way from the beginning 10 second mark till 22 second mark he passed me at 115 when i switched into the fourth gear the jump was legit in the quarter mile my car is faster obv the v8 will catch up top

you pulled up front up to 3rd gear becuz from a dig AMGs, specially the new V8s, lack grip due to the inmense torque from the engine. That is the only reason. And BTW he passed you before 115 MPH

How am i hating on AMG? I own a C63 and know exactly what this cars are capable of. And really the 335 does handle better than the CLS63. Also have in mind that those little 335s when tuned and modded are quite fast. Still if you read my other posts, no 335 comes close in anything to an AMG, i dont even think an M does

ok another clarification for this video. we just spoke to the kid who's 335i is and this is NOT a JB3.

He has V3 NON Rev 2 (which is older than dirt and not nearly as powerful). A resanator delete (which does nothing for performance and a Dual cone intake by injen which produces some of the least gains for an intake.

I have no clue oh you just spoke to, but you didn't speak to the owner of the 335i. He has a JB3 v1.3, running on Map7. Correction, he also has Vishnu intakes, not Injen. He has stock DPs, Stock Cats, and straight 2.6" cat-back.
