Just started fishing this lake this year. I have been there 2x since the opener and I am thinking about driving out agian very soon. Any tips on fishing it in October?
during this trip I averaged 10 a day. in previous years I've caught up to 40 in half of a day. and I have even herd of guys having 100 fish days. this lake is located in Nevada 36 miles out of city of Reno.and right now the lake is closed to fisherman until the last week of September I think because the opener always changes from year to year. at this lake you can only use artificial lures that are barb less. it truly is a awesome lake to fish if you enjoy fishing with a fly rod
Nice video. May is definitely past prime time, but you guys did very well. I kind of quit last year in about the second week of May.
