Thank you so much for putting this up! I watched a couple of episodes of this when it was first shown but wasn't that impressed (Like Alexis himself, I knew the original series) so I missed this.

sooooo strange to see Alexis without an English accent! I've been a BtVS and Angel fan forever, and I never quite realized he wasn't really English! Better late than never I suppose...
His English accent was perfect (unlike a certain blonde vampire); in his Wesley there was only one word, once, that made me think "Er...". But he did get his acting training here, in London, and stayed in total for 13 years (then almost half his life).
Question: to my English hearing, some of his words or syllables in this vid sound still a bit English - do they to American ears?
I agree, he does seem to have recurrence of his accent from time to time. I'm sure working around people with English accents doesn't help! I've noticed that in interviews, his voice is pretty tenor, and his American accent is very noticeable, but his "acting" voice is generally a bit lower, and he tends to sound english at times. Hey, congrats to him and Allison on their baby as well!
"Way 007 in a tux" OH yes. But this was NOT pre Wesley. He says he was "on a break from Buffy" - it was the summer after they finished BtVS S3 (he knew he was going to play Wesley in Angel but Joss Whedon hadn't yet decided how to bring him in). He had some work in England then stayed to hang out with friends & got a call to do R&H while still here. He was keen 'cause The Fast Show was one of his faves and he of course knew Reeves & Mortimer.
If you really want to see Alexis Denisof pre Wesley, check him out all young and cool in George Harrison's I Got My Mind Set On You... there are two versions and he's in the 'black and white' one, not the living room one.
. He has done many stage productions, including one with Anthony Head, who played Wesley's predecessor Rupert Giles on Buffy

He said he had to re-learn his American accent.
