The United Kingdom hears you! I think I speak for everyone when I say, thank you for fighting not only for Britain and the empire, but to keep YOUR country free and to protect YOUR citizens! We will remember you! We will always hear you!
Greetings and peace to you, I still hope Australia is 'friendly' to the United States of America. And still an Ally, as we were back in the day against Japan.
The ANZAC soldiers will be remembered forever, even after year 3000, the ANZAC heroes fought for our country and died for our lives, everyone owes them a thanks, and shall there spirits be resting in eternity.
Those heroes who shed their blood and lost their lives, you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. therefore rest in peace. there is no difference between the johnnies and the mehemets to us where they lie side by side in this country of ours.
you, the mothers who sent their sons from far away countries wipe away your tears, your sons are now lying in our bosoms and are in peace. after having lost their lives on this land they become our sons as well.
@ assberger YOU Fuckin fuckr if I ever met you, you would be dead every Australian would be behind me! How dare u say galipoli never happened they fought for freedom if they didn't chances are we'd be overuled by Germans! You fucktard say that to the Australian army or people who served you'd be dead! Other than that.. Lest We Forget great video 5 stars
I am going to put this on my favourites, and it is going to stay there for a month. I'm British not Australian, but I have the greatest respect for Australia, and indeed the New Zealanders who gave everything to save us tyranny in both World Wars.
Australians should be taught more about patriotism. These soldiers are proud to be Australian. It's mostly soldiers family and friends that really understand what they stand for. Stand up Australians and support our troops. Out of 20 million people we have a defence force of approx 40,000. I salute all of our soldiers regardless of which role they play. I am a family member of a soldier. Take care troops we are thinking of you all.
I have just been re-reading the story of JACK SIMPSON THE MAN WITH THE DONKEY, I live about a 40 min drive from his birthplace in Shields in North East England where a statue of him now stands in the heart of the town, A town which is just as proud of him as Australia is. Possibly the bravest man never to wear the VC.
I feel sad for Australians. But they gainded a lot after the war. Most of them died Because of those fucking japs and some germans. I feel and I know they tried more in WW1 then WW11
ok, so lets just ignore asperger232, he obviously wouldnt go mouthing off like that if he wasnt hiding behind his computer screen using an internet name.
Im a serving Soldier, however i must say that i dont really like this song. It sounds like it was made up in a hurry, with no real emotion, containing common lyrics that everyone just loves to hear - like most tribute songs are. Sorry to those here who really like it - just my opinion. I think there are better, more stirring songs out there.
I don't expect everyone to like the song but I will say a couple of things. The song wasn't made up in a hurry. Far from it. I also don't know of any other song similar to it, so it stands on its own as far as lyrics go. Many people, especially Vietnam Veterans and their family members, have found comfort in the song.
gday mate i am proud of all aussie soldiers figting for their country and trying so hard for peace in the world but there is always going to be war remember the anzac spirit
You are a fuckin disgrace to every Australian person who has ever died so that you could live in a free country. It is people whodisrespect Australia, her history and her people, and think they have the right to do it. You might well have just walked into the war memorial and spat on the unknown soldier. You are what is wrong with this world, the thousands of Australians who have died didn't fight for dickheads like you. I am happy you are an ex-Aussie. Because if you ever come back- your fucked
How dare you say Gallipoli never happened! You dare think you're freakin better at histroy than the thousands of historians and soldiers that lost their friends in the fights? It's this kind of 'You're A SHit bag, I'm better than you!' thinking that starts things like the Nazi's and war. (excuse the crass language in the name of my country. I'm rather ticked of). I Also wouldn't be holding much credit to someone with the name 'asperger'...
This is very beautiful. Many Australians gave much, even their lives, for the sake of their nation and people. From the First World War up until today.
Honestly, I have to say that 100,000 really isn't that much. I'm not stepping on your dead, or tarnishing their memory. Just saying that America's lost millions, and I'm pretty sure Russia's up there in the billions. Or at least half a billion.
This is a great song. Wish Americans cared about their soldiers as much as you do. They deserve better.
The USSR didnt care about their soldiers they sent millions of ppls in death when they know that they would die so I dont think they would make a song like this to honor them. Btw this is a lovley song.
hey dude... i agree that the americans could care a bit more.. not sayin they dont... bt ya also gotta think we dont have as many soldiers or people as america does.. ya kno...
yes and how come some americans said australia deserved the victorian bushfires thats like saying america deserved the seotember 11 attacks i believe that neither of the countries deserved wat happened
Russia hasn't lost anything CLOSE to half a billion :P That's a stupidly large number. I'm pretty sure if you added up ALL war dead in the history of earth it would only be about that much.
And its a bad idea to come onto a video and basically say 'Why make a video for only 100,000 dead?!'. I think it shows good character to make a video for any number dead.
song It touched my heart softly its so extremely true. I love it thanks to revelation the ANZACS and all the nurses and stuff that helped as well next time if we need to solve a problem can we talk it through instead of having wars
My Mother was an Australian War Bride. She met Dad in Melbourne during WWII. Dad and Mom married in November 1946. All my Aussie Uncles served during the war. Allan White, Ernest White, William White and Thomas White. God Bless the Aussie Military.
This song made me cry. Thank you. I will be in Washington D.C. for Anzac Day.

What did they do in Gallopoli, nothing, and Kokoda, nothing, because they never happened. So called "Aussies" are great for creating lies..
Maybe they should give Amrozi an "Australian of the Year" award for his services to a land of cowards who don't fight like men (with a backbone).
Australians are all invertebrates, they all do not have a backbone, never have and never will.
GOD FUCK AUSTRALIA.
