i watched a movie version of this story long long time ago.. i didn't know which version but i think at least 15 years ago.. i watched it with my dad.. i like it even though i dun really undrstand english at that time.. never new the title till now.. bring memories of my late father..
I've got an idea: break off some plastic fork tines, superglue them to goldfishes, and spraypaint them blue. Put the fishes in a bucket. I forget where this goes, but you can probably figure out the rest.

Is this how it ends?
I had a different ending in memory...
Am I delusional?
Must be.

Ah... no.... I see now....
I thought (assumed - yet again) that you recorded the entire story at one time....

I've only seen one with Spencer Tracy starring, I think. That was a classic. : )

"That was a classic."
Yep that's the one. I have scenes of that movie going through my mind as Hairy reads. I recognise scenes that he is reading.

Yes that one too, but Quinn takes the Oscars for me. Check it out, you won't be disappointed...pure class! :)

Perhaps some clips from the film of the same name? Which stars Anthony Quinn as Santiago.

Small scale replica marlins. That's how you make a blockbuster. Mystery solved.

How about mugs? Coasters? And ashtrays?
Start simple. A stand on the beach.

I was just making suggestions for future video installments of "The Old Man and the Sea". You do want that Oscar, right?
If you're going that route, just sell bottled beach water. At 800 times the production cost, of course.
