  • You know that Meg supposed to be the beautiful one? How come in the movie Jo is the prettiest? Why do I always imagine characters differently than in movies?

  • christian bale looks so adorable n charming in this trailer, i know what moovie i will see this weekedn

  • this trailer shows almost everything!!!

  • I cried when she didnt agree to get merried with loury

  • gahhh i hate how jo ends up with a guy who will probably die of old age the day after they get married instead of laurie. >:(

  • @orchadork222 he's only like in his late 30s or early 40s haha. she is in her mid 20s. that sounds alright to me

  • Im absolutely heartbroken Laurie and Jo didn't end up 2gether='(

  • I saw the play last night I love the story

  • Hope that Laurie and Jo ended up together =( .........

  • I love this movie :) I didn't even know of the movie until I got it for Christmas one year and it's one of my favorites now. Last year me and my friend did a song from the musical of this at our Rotary music festival. It's called Somethings are Meant to Be and takes place right before Beth dies. I was Beth and we made the entire audience cry and placed 1st with a 92%. Very rare for an aujudicator to give anywhere in the 90s. You can go to my profile of you want to see our performance :)

  • eric stoltz is FIT in this film.

  • ever since i was 13 i was thinking that laurie and jo would end up together....

  • This book rocks.. n so does the movie.. Its perfect for young growing girls!

  • I love this book. I love this movie. It brings me to tears. Just watching the trailer gives me goosebumps.

  • I read the book like 8 years ago, and I watched the movie then, seems like a bzilllion years ago now, but watching the trailer again, made me realize how much I like the story, and the movie, and of course Christian Bale!!!

  • so in third grade, we had an advanced reading group called the Diamonds - all girls - and this was one of the books we read. the movie came out around the time we finished the book, so our teacher took us on a field trip to see it. it was the first time I cried at a movie, and this will always have a very special place in my heart. such a special, special story! still one of my faves to this day.

  • I always watched this when I was a little kid

  • i immediately started crying again watching this trailer. it amazes me that anyone could portray such an immortal book so well in a movie.

  • Just finished the book, and it seems like I don't even need to see the movie because the whole thing was just shown in the trailer. XD I'm kidding, I'll still watch it, but it was a very revealing trailer. XD

  • Christian Bale is sooooo cute! OMG!

  • OMG!!is that christian bale?! I never noticed. and winona is in the crucible! and kirsten dunst! geez! i knew they all looked familiar

  • is that christian bale?! I never noticed. and the girl who plays jo, she's abigail in The Crucible...

  • If Jo doesn't want Christian Bale I'll take him!

  • agggggg!!!! Ok i regret watching the trailer! I'm on chapter 6 in the book and now i know what's going to happend :(

  • A life-changing book - a sublime movie! For me - Jo inspired my life, my writing, my entire persona...absolutely incredible how a work of literary art can mold a person's lifetime, ! :)))

  • I never bored this book ;)

  • Only the best movie

  • i wander if the book i just got will give me chills like this movie did.

  • this movie was my childhood ! i remember rewinding the vhs back soo manytimes

  • This is one of the worst trailers I've ever seen! It gives away the entire story! Sure, probably most who went to see it knew the plot, but STILL!

  • I always cry when Beth dies Clair Danes played her beautifully

  • i turned into such a girl squealing, and im not really that much of a girly girl but this trailer cracked me! gosh im a sucker for romance!

  • @koner1999

Oh yeah , he`s cute lad . I`d love him

  • I'm 13, and I've read the book one hundred times, I loved it, and I JUST found out that it was a movie, You can't guess how happy I am :D

  • this is one of the most beautiful movies ever!!

  • Winona Ryder , the only actress in Hollywood that acts naturally

  • I can't find this movie ANYWHERE. does anyone know where I can find it???

  • I re-read "Little women" three times now, and will keep reading it for its amazing story.

But I shall admit it was a huge disappointment to find out how Amy and Jo give up on their dreams.

(and I totally miss Beth:( )

  • @xAlxyz what do you mean? Jo wanted to be a writer and her book was published and she got married to the man she loved. I haven't read the story in awhile so I don't remember what Amy ended up doing, but I do remember about Jo. But I agree, Beth was so sweet, it was sad when she died.

  • @33rosyposy

I only read the book "Little Women" (the first one), and the rest of info came from Wikipedia because I couldn't find the "Good Wives" and "Jo's boys" books.

  • just watching the trailer made me cry...

  • what's the name of the music of the minute 0:21? Thank you!!

  • Amo esta película, el libro y el anime =)

  • I read the book and loved it :) Can't wait to see the movie too.

  • Jo and Laurie :(

  • Les 4 filles du Dr. March! It used to watch the anime version of it on Mangas. Was awesome.

  • i desperately want to watch this but I can't find it! :'(

  • Excellent movie. And Christian Bale is so young and adorable here. I love this movie too much. Those movies that are decent and romantic and has innocent humor. I love those types of movies.

  • @ragetti911, Christian Bale was the first actor I saw who really seemed to understand how to play Laurie -- worldly yet boyish and mischievous, self-confident yet vulnerable, intelligent but not aloof. It's a harder role than it looks, and Bale was wonderful.

  • the books are even more amazing! have read them a hundred times!

  • that is like the entire film, this trailer

  • i love you christian! :)

  • wow!

  • This trailer would have been about a thousand times better if they'd used Thomas Newman's score.

  • Ugh, I LOVE the book, I haven't seen the movie but it sure looks awesome.... but sometimes they skip a bunch of stuff in movies....,

  • Ugh, I LOVE the book, I haven't seen the movie but it sure looks awesome....

  • looking forward to watch the film :D I have read the book and it was really nice

  • y du the trailers have to give evrything away -___-

  • what year was this version made???

  • I cried when Beth died. She's my favorite♥

  • when i first read the story i loved it but then ...I didnt like that beth died she was my favourite character,i dont understand why she had to die she was such a good person, then although i understood Jos decision I was soo sorry for laurie and I dont liked the professor she married at all, last but not least for me its like Amy got it all she had everything she wanted it made me sad for the others, but that is only my opinion

    sorry for my english-still learning

  • this is a movie which makes you cry!!!!!! I love it sooooo much!

  • I'm probably the only one, but...I always thought Beth should live and *she* should be the one to end up with Laurie.

  • @TalulahCarmichael you re not the only one! i also thought that beth schould live and that she could also end up with laurie

  • @thessaloniki4ever1 Yay, I'm not alone! :)

  • Id like to disagree with a lot of other people I think it was a completely wise decision that Jo didn't marry Laurie. You can't blame her for following her heart and truthfully Jo's right they would bring each other down. As much as love is powerful and I'm sure they have it for each other, but the most wonderful kind of love is one that makes you a better person or wnat to strive to be a better person. And that's what Jo and Freidrich as and even Laurie and Amy.

  • i want to be little women, its so cool!

  • This movie, is so beautiful! :) I love it! :D

  • the trailer made me tear...ill probably start a flood when i watch the movie

  • I can't watch this movie without crying.

  • where can you watch this?

  • 1994! the year I was born ^^

  • Holy crap, that's Christian Bale! CHRISTIAN BALE IS LAURIE?! I knew there was a reason I loved him.

  • whts the date !!!!!!!!!!

  • WHT YEAR IS THIS ;(!!!!!!!!

  • @iknowthepizzaman 1994 ;)

  • @Symphonya90 thnx

  • i think it took time for Joe to grow and the professor was not just a boy that she had grown up with but he was the man she needed and i think with Laurie's wealth and with and Amy's needs they fit perfectly even more so because Laurie is the luxury and safe security and comfort that Amy has been looking for all along and by the end of it all Joe knew it was best Amy knew it was best and even Laurie knew.. it was best

  • I thought Jo and Laurie should end up together.. This ending just doesn't make sense to me..

  • Short circuit

  • This movie made me cry so many times

  • @moviesareart me too!!!

  • I... REALLY don't like the professor... I LOVE LAURIE!!!

  • out of topic but the Columbia Pictures woman-image reminds me of Susan Sarandon

  • its really similar to a cartoon i used to watch when i was young..

  • I really need to watch this again....I remember watching it when I was about 13 ...but I loved it and wanted to watch it again, but I didn't know the name of the movie But now I do !!! :D

  • ugh why couldn't Jo love Laurie back!!

  • @Cr3amy Me too! The German guy seemd nice, but part of me wanted her to be with laurie!

  • @Cr3amy I understand your feelings, but I thought that aspect of the film, however heartbreaking, made the film the masterpiece that it is. Also, I think that Gabriel Byrne's Friedrich is the "perfect man" for Jo.

  • I loved this movie when I was growing up. I watched it so many times and I've read the book way back in 8th grade.
