The only time smoking your tires isn't dipshit retarded is when you're at the drag strip or just nailing it and your car breaks loose. Just test drove one and floored it around a sharp corner and it didn't even squeal. I don't have tons of money to ruin my rotors, brakes, and tires and just go buy more so I drive like a sensible person.
