I'm sorry but you guys need to face the facts that John Paul should feel really horrible about himself, whether he had anything to do with Kieron's death or not. He proposed to this man, he told him he loved him for all this time. Kieron gave up his lifestyle to be with John Paul while Craig needed a year or so to decide what he wanted to do. Then as soon as Craig comes back, he's so ready to break it off with Kieron. I understand Craig is his first love but Kieron was his first loving love.

And he was always around JP like a puppy dog...just waiting for an opportunity to get inside his pants (ahh...the joys of daring teenagers to buy beer in their undies rsrs). Craig, by his turn, was not gay and, yes, he needed time to come to terms with his sexuality. Craig, Kieron and JP...they were all in the wrong.

You said you haven´t watched the JPC storyline, just read about it. How can you compare then?. The infatuation in JP´s eyes whenever he looked at Craig´s face. Their rows...their passionate moments, their friendship and love. It wasn´t perfect, but it was real! You could see JP really loved Craig cos he had to put up with a lot, but Craig made his choice at the end - it was JP. Jp´s love confession to Craig is an EPIC moment. Such intense feelings!

I wish people would stop giving thumbs down to people who prefer JP and K together. It's a matter of opinion people! Personally I prefer JP and Craig cause I liked Craig before the whole McDean thing but I think the JP/K shippers should be allowed their point of view.

I think you´re right. As much as I can´t stand Kieron, I don´t give peeps opnions thumbs down. Even though some JPKers call Craig names and stuff. Well, of course you already know I´m a Craigette LOL I always liked his character even when he was an arrogant prick and then, watching old Craig episodes, I fell in love even more. JP can just stay there and be pretty (although his character had some brilliant moments)
LOL of course I know. In a way, for me at least, it's impossible not to like Craig because he was never a truly cruel character; he just did some stupid things as a coping mechanism, but he grew out of it. Fact is, JP loved both him and Kieron in different ways, simply because they're both different people. Some will like one, some will like the other and some, like me, will like both. :)
What a God-awful mess! JP shocked and grieving, Craig bewildered and afraid (of losing JP) and Kieron dead! Not to mention loads of guilt and blame all around. And Myra, really! How can she be so insensitive at a time like this? I just wanna hug JP and comfort him, since Craig can't.

I hate spoilers. Just when the story line was getting interesting for me i read a comment about Kieron dying. I just had to jump to the very end, and I still cant believe it. No that certainly was NOT the end of John Paul's storyline. There is a full week's worth of beautiful episodes, September 15 - 19, 2008, followed by John Paul's official exit from Hollyoaks on Sept. 19 with his love, Craig Dean, for Dublin. He returned for three episodes in October that had to do with Niall's revenge. Plenty of channels have these episodes on YT - just do a search!

oh please, this is the same JP that spent an entire summer having sex with Craig behind one of his best friends back. He is a big boy, reponsible for his own actions. He slept with Craig because he wanted to and he had already been dumped by Kieron he wasnt 'with him' at the time.
Kieron slept with JP behind god's back, a catholic preist's vow of celebacy is the highest commitment they can make and he broke that.
Myra was right in feeling like JP had been acting wrong, because he has been acting like an ignorant brat towards Kieron. Now that doesn't take away from the fact that if he was having second thoughts the best thing to do was tell kieron about it, but to sleep with Craig when he was still with Kieron was wrong,wrong,wrong.

I have been watching hollyoaks since the 1st episode aired in 1995 and have followed Craig since 2002 when he was a 14 year old kid and these episodes made me beam with pride seeing the charchter finally grown into a mature young man, albeit one who still had his faults, he did himself proud.

Father Kieron is not a pious priest, he is an evil person! He seduced an innocent kid (JP) and took him from his mamma and his family. And for those who say that it is just a script and not a real life, I say: God is almighty and he shows his will even via script!

I fully agree with you. I loved Kieron and him and JP did work well but there is just more chemistry between him and Craig in my opinion and Im glad they bought him back for the Sunset Ending :)
This episode is so heartwrenching. You can tell that all Craig wants to do is take John Paul into his arms and comfort him and when he said "I'll wait as long as it takes" it just shows how deeply he cares for John Paul.

There is a big difference between LOVE and being IN LOVE.
Did JP LOVE K? Yes, evident by when he found him ... called him, "Sweetheart - wake up!" Was he IN love with him - doubtful. Was K IN love with JP. Clearly.
IS JP IN love with Craig? Probably (for what his young heart knows of being IN love) - does he LOVE Craig. No.
Is Craig IN love with anyone? Yeah, himself.

It's so obvious, given the way he died with no point to his life or time in Hollyoaks AT ALL, that The character of Kieron was always intended to be just a cast away in the Niall story. I'm going to always be a JP/K fan. I'm going to watch old episodes forever and remember the kisses, the hugs, the laughs (Chicken Dance)and the fights, because with a relationship comes all that. There's nothing we McHobb fans can do about it, we tried all we could. Let's just hope that the HO writers let JP grieve, then let McDean have their Sunset Ending, if they must. But I know from experience no matter what you or your BF/GF are going through losing them is never easy.
All the McDean/Kieron awesomeness aside, I still can't get over that JP did not send Myra to hell for what she just said and did. "He's with his family now, he'll be ok" Grrr.

He also killed Max and started banging his distraught widow. He's so evil it's wrong but he's also so gorgeous that it hurts me, and on some level I feel bad for him. He started out with small, less vicious retaliations and he's escalating so quickly it's scary. He's like a pyro with a match and Myra keeps, unknowingly, fueling his fire, just adding to the blaze that's slowly burning it's way through the McQueen family. The last scene made me think he really wants to tell her though...

I wish people would stop giving thumbs down to people who prefer JP and K together. It's a matter of opinion people! Personally I prefer JP and Craig cause I liked Craig before the whole McDean thing but I think the JP/K shippers should be allowed their point of view.

I think you´re right. As much as I can´t stand Kieron, I don´t give peeps opnions thumbs down. Even though some JPKers call Craig names and stuff. Just wanted to mention that at least here, on this channel, peeps don´t have their comments erased. Cos I remember a channel in which every comment kind of against JPK (in a polited, civil way) was ERASED. Erased by the channel´s owner. That was just daft.

Well, of course you already know I´m a Craigette LOL I always liked his character even when he was an arrogant prick and then, watching old Craig episodes, I fell in love even more. JP can just stay there and be pretty (although his character had some brilliant moments)

LOL of course I know. In a way, for me at least, it's impossible not to like Craig because he was never a truly cruel character; he just did some stupid things as a coping mechanism, but he grew out of it. Fact is, JP loved both him and Kieron in different ways, simply because they're both different people. Some will like one, some will like the other and some, like me, will like both. :)

I hate spoilers. Just when the story line was getting interesting for me i read a comment about Kieron dying. I just had to jump to the very end, and I still cant believe it. No that certainly was NOT the end of John Paul's storyline. There is a full week's worth of beautiful episodes, September 15 - 19, 2008, followed by John Paul's official exit from Hollyoaks on Sept. 19 with his love, Craig Dean, for Dublin. He returned for three episodes in October that had to do with Niall's revenge. Plenty of channels have these episodes on YT - just do a search!

Kieron slept with JP behind god's back, a catholic preist's vow of celebacy is the highest commitment they can make and he broke that.

Myra was right in feeling like JP had been acting wrong, because he has been acting like an ignorant brat towards Kieron. Now that doesn't take away from the fact that if he was having second thoughts the best thing to do was tell kieron about it, but to sleep with Craig when he was still with Kieron was wrong,wrong,wrong.
Nobody seems to remember what a complete ass Craig was towards JP, how he would use him for sex then tell him to fck off.

I have been watching hollyoaks since the 1st episode aired in 1995 and have followed Craig since 2002 when he was a 14 year old kid and these episodes made me beam with pride seeing the charchter finally grown into a mature young man, albeit one who still had his faults, he did himself proud.

The last episode with John Paul and Craig is on friday the 19th I think where we shall find out if they get their sunset ending. The reason we havent seen them this week is that the writers wanted to focus on some of the other storylines.

This episode is so heartwrenching. You can tell that all Craig wants to do is take John Paul into his arms and comfort him and when he said "I'll wait as long as it takes" it just shows how deeply he cares for John Paul.

I really feel the sibling connection between Mercedes and John Paul. I always feel like Mercedes really cares for John Paul so much. Poor John Paul.
I hope that after John Paul leaves the clips will continue. In October he returns and is kidnapped.
After JP leaves Niall kidnaps the sisters one by one every week. John Paul comes back and is taken also and Niall explodes the church. 1of the sisters die. I hope crumpetsandjam shows us the future clips! I love the McQueen family!!!!

There is a big difference between LOVE and being IN LOVE.
Did JP LOVE K? Yes, evident by when he found him ... called him, "Sweetheart - wake up!" Was he IN love with him - doubtful. Was K IN love with JP. Clearly.
IS JP IN love with Craig? Probably (for what his young heart knows of being IN love) - does he LOVE Craig. No.
Is Craig IN love with anyone? Yeah, himself.
This isn't a matter of McD vs McK - but a matter of perceptions.
And a SE is in the end of the beholder.

As a fan of both JP/C AND JP/K (with more emphasis on the JP/C since I'm definitely rooting for that SE), I feel it's important to note something.
John Paul loved Craig FIRST. Kieron was a good guy and yes, he loved JP, but he just didn't get there first.
So, John Paul gave Craig his heart and never got it back.
To me, it's about the guy who showed up first.
Does this reconcile the two or NO WAY?

I dont't hate any of them. I understand them more now...Nail's just a broken little boy inside: irrational, emotional, and immature. He just wants his mommy, a mommy that loves him. Craig simply came back to see if he had ANY chance to be with the love of his life, what's wrong with that? And Kieron should have known it was risky to be with someone who's heart's split in two and dweled in the past. And poor John Paul: devasted, confused, and being pulled apart by everyone. It's so obvious, given the way he died with no point to his life or time in Hollyoaks AT ALL, that The character of Kieron was always intended to be just a cast away in the Niall story. But i can't believe that when so many people got into the JP & K story line they couldn't at least give him a decent murder. I'm going to always be a JP/K fan. I'm going to watch old episodes forever and remember the kisses, the hugs, the laughs (Chicken Dance)and the fights, because with a relationship comes all that. There's nothing we McHobb fans can do about it, we tried all we could. Let's just hope that the HO writers let JP grieve, then let McDean have their Sunset Ending, if they must. But I know from experience no matter what you or your BF/GF are going through losing them is never easy.

When is Niall going to get his?
He mugged Myra's mom. He tried to kill Micheala, Tina & her baby. And now he has killed Kieron. Can he get worse?
I know he is a sociopath, but he deserves the worst punishment... and soon!

He also killed Max and started banging his distraught widow. He's so evil it's wrong but he's also so gorgeous that it hurts me, and on some level I feel bad for him. He started out with small, less vicious retaliations and he's escalating so quickly it's scary. He's like a pyro with a match and Myra keeps, unknowingly, fueling his fire, just adding to the blaze that's slowly burning it's way through the McQueen family. The last scene made me think he really wants to tell her though...
