First, read up on airships and what it ACTUALLY takes to run them, including the problems, as well as reading up on the ACTUAL problems plaguing Africa (political instability, AIDS, famine, etc.)...

The video -Solar Airship- shows that airships can purely driven by solarpower ! An air-transport system surely can't be more economical than that !!!
