I think the reason why M. Bison was made into a wimp in the movie was because Raul Julia was in poor health at the time. Therefore, he didn't have the strength to perform Bison stunts.

I think the reason why M. Bison was made into a wimp in the movie was because Raul Julia was in poor health at the time. Therefore, he didn't have the strength to perform Bison stunts.

Even though I would not defend this movie unless we are comparing it to teh Chun-Li movie but this movie was made a year before Street Fighter Alpha so pretty much during that time Charlie could of been anybody heck even Street Fighter II V anime had Charilie being completely different

It's not like they went to make out an accurate movie version of the Street Fighter game, realised they knew little more than the characters names and slapped together something at the last minute, it was more of an interperatation for an origional movie using the Street Fighter games as a catalyst. Yeah they failed on both accounts but they werent out to please Street Fighter fans from the get go.
