Unless they are singing about God and the songs are about him then they aren't a Christian band. That doesn't mean they don't have Christian morals but it just means that they aren't a Christian band. But to be honest who cares. It is great music so just enjoy it and stop fighting.

@SycamoreHill14 There are MANY good Christian bands out there. Crimson Moonlight and Antestor are perfect examples and are great members of the Christian black metal scene. Antestor's album "The Forsaken" did have Hellhammer on drums, but he was just a session musician. Theocracy, Divinefire, and Rob Rock hold their own against secular power metal bands. There are so many Christian bands that are better than their secular counterparts.

Perfect guitar melodies, brutal ass vocals, and great drumming, definately one of the best bands i've ever listened to.

If you're still unsure if this band is Christian, the title of this song is a quote from Revelations 4:3, when John has a vision of going up to heaven and he describes God: "And he who sat there appeared like jasper and carnelian, and round the throne was a rainbow that looked like an emerald." Pretty much every song references the Bible in some way. For example, "Sons of Thunder" is the nickname for James and John, two of Jesus' apostles. And Samson was an Old Testament Hebrew hero.
