@mosihq That strip of tube is to help prevent the tire from flinging water/mud in front of the rider. If the rider is going fast then the water flung by the tire will surely hit you in the face.

@thetankkevin it's the most amazing all mountain bike I've ridden, I bought the 70 RSL, which is one model down still carbon from this one..and it's unreal..most efficient climbing 5.5 inch travel bike I have ever ridden..and it's got enough travel that you can bomb through rough stuff without getting rattled..best all around purchase I have made
