  • @Scharizzle Man, there are no basics. Just get a teacher and a sitar. and be willing to live through some moderate pain, but it is more than worth it. SERIOUSLY, its an awesome and challenging instrument top play.

  • maaeessttrrooo!! es un genio

  • I like your dedication to an awesome tune........ awesome dude.......

  • lulz at description

  • That was cool. Some suggestions though. U need to hold it more horizontally and u should put your thumb on the joint. It gives u more power. Also you should be struming up and down. Not just up.

  • Your really good :) I'm getting one soon & I can't wait :D

  • me too. 8 more days until mine comes in the mail! =) IM SO EXCITED!!!!!

  • @TEHEARTHBOUNDFAN where did you get it, and how much did you pay for it?

  • what was he doing at 0:25

  • hes tuning

  • I just got a Sitar, any ideas on where to learn to play or how to move fingers gracefully?

  • wered u buy one i want really bad man plz

  • my dads the playin the sitar, ive fooled around on it, its pretty friken awesome.

  • is the sitar hard to learn? The only experience I have with music is high school band on the trumpet and alittle guitar.

  • The worst thing about a sitar is keeping it in tune. It won't stay in tune for days like a guitar will. It needs to be tuned every couple songs. There is also a difference in western music and eastern music when it comes to the chromatic scale. We have whole notes and sharp/flats. They have notes inbetween the sharps and whole notes. It is kinda weird cuz the frets can be moved on a sitar to change the pitch. But, with great patience you can move the frets to the notes that you desire to play.

  • dude were can i buy em specifically in Cali? for a cheap price

  • this is very cool my friend. this is going on my favorites list :)

  • :D:D:D

  • how much is a sitar. i bet they're extremely pricey xD.

  • they have them for like only 200 dollars on google product search

  • Amazing, I love it. 5 stars.

  • :-)
