hab ich das richtig gesehen, du hast da alle 4 Beinchen der einen Seite miteinander verlötet? Muss das so sein? auf meiner Platine sieht das nicht so aus.

Wieviel watt hat dein Lötkolben bzw wieviel Grad lötest du?

Hab vor meinem AWD neue Fets und nen Chilli zu gönnen und habe etwas angst die Platine zu töten.

Hab vorgestern eine SMD-Sicherung aus nem DVD-Player gelötet, Kabel an die Kontakte und so eie Glassicherung eingebaut. Das hab ich hinbekommen.

Das orange band ist Entlötsauglitze um das überflüssige Lötzinn zu entfernen.

Hallo wat machst du da eigentlich genau, was bringt das? Ich möchte mir vielleicht bald einen Mini Z Monster holen und hätte gern gewusst was das bringt was du da machst?

Ohne getauschte Fets (gerade im Monster) brennen dir sehr leicht da sie nicht genug Strom aushalten. Die Tauschtypen haben weniger Widerstand und damit mehr Leistung am Motor, da die Verluste geringer ausfallen.

isn't it 4 fets on a board? 2 for the servo-stuff, plus the 2 you are working on. is it only necessary to upgrade the ones you are working on??? I am wondering if I should upgrade 2 or 4 fets.

The 2 in front are only for the servo and there is no need to change them.

my miniz asf mainboard"s mosfets have been burned i . i am looking to diifeerent sites like 2 months and finally i saw this vid. But my mainboard isnt with crystal is an asf mainboard is there a difference with mosfets? I will buy 4 chips for my mainboard and i want to know some thinks. All the legs of the chip should be connected with iron?? and they can be connected with any way? please help me with an answer.

Yes, the asf has the same mosfets.The output legs can be connectet, but its no have to.

Hi ich wollt mal fragen wieso bei dir der fet so hochschnappt wenn du ihn auf einer Seite erwärmst? Das war bei mir leider nich so und ich hatte massive Probleme den alten Fet abzubekommen. Ich hatte meine Fets letzte Woche gewechselt und eigentlich hat alles funktioniert. Leider fing der Zetti gestern plötzlich an zu rauchen und jetzt fährt er nicht mehr vorwärts echt komisch da muss es einen der Fets durchgebrannt haben aber warum... hast Du ne Idee?

Ist ne gefühlssache. Ich heble ganz leicht mit dem Lötkoben, damit er "hochspringt" . Wenn er abgeraucht ist, hast du wohl ne "kalte" Lötstelle gemacht.

weisst du auch wie man einen twin turbo einbaut? da weden ja 4 ic´s verlötet werden die dann einfach übereiander verlötet im gleichen prinzip?

Die sind intern auch schon miteinander verbunden. Schau dir die Leiterbahn an, die läuft auch zusammen.

Hey Sash, it's Jonny. Great work on the FET replacement. It's nice to see the different techniques used. I'll try next time with putting the solder onto the rear pads first to get the FET held in place. Thanks for posting the video : )
