If you are going to wink at a girl, then you should have a very good reason to do so. For example, If a girl tells a teasing joke at a boy, then that would be a reason for a boy to wink his eye at a girl.
Winks are just a more charming way to say hello or express acknowledgement, you girls shouldn't over-analyze and get caught up on intricacies of winking... There really aren't any.
