i have seen mine attacked by a 7 year old lab, it went of 3 different times, on the 4th time i told him to fight back, he pinned the lab by the neck and held it still untill i had spoken to the owner and asked him to let go, he is only a year and 8 months.

This is actually how my dad would treat a dog or puppy when we got one he would nip them whenever they got unruly so I have a 9 year old dog that is proof this works

He actually did good by biting the dog he showed the dog that he was the boss and he was in control and dogs always want a leader that is always in control therefore the dog gave him a thank you by licking him

When my Clumber spaniel was attacked by a shit bull, I was kicking the monster like mad, with steel toe capped work boots! It was like kicking an iron barrel. The shit didn't even look back to see who was kicking it. The owner, who with hindsight I now realize DELIBERATELY set the shit bull on my dog, had to come over and drag it off. Next time, I'll try that bite technique.

next time a dog does something bad make it look you in the eyes and your show teeth keeping eye contact for 10 to 15 seconds forcing them if they try and break it, youll see the fear.. slap him on the nose and youll see nothing.

I've heard several news stories where a person (usually a guy) bites a pitbull to get them to back off of attacking another animal - and it works. I'm actually quite surprised. I guess humans are bigger, and doing something that asserts your dominance - but I would be worried that pit would bite my face.

Now "the scratch" simply refers to the beginning of a dog fight round, first round it is one of the dogs turn to scratch, which means he is released first and once he crosses the "scratch" line in the middle of pit then the second dog can be released. Next round the second dog scratches.
