I love this song, it shows Vinnie had Chet Atkins, Lenny Breau and many other influences. Seems to be live off the floor (no overdubs) Johnny Winter did a tab version of finger style Yankee Doodle Dandy in the first Guitar Player mag I bought in the 70's.

After further examination, he played the solos NO WHERE NEAR the speed live as on the studio albums. After listening to the 2 albums, "Invasion" and "All Systems Go", it's quite obvious that it's Frankenstein material on those albums. There is so much editing done on those albums. He just pieced together parts of different solos and arranged them together. I wonder how it mustve felt to see that basically Vinnie's whole band dropped him and got a new guitarist, and they've got number 1 hits.
Vinnie's playing roughly (I use the term because I'm not exactly dead on) 146th notes in the solos, (Not completely impossible, but pretty damn hard to do, I mean like, BEYOND Yngwie speed) meaning, if he was actually legitly doing this, wouldn't that mean HE would be considered the fastest guitarist in the world? (Which he is not.)
