Too bad Christians can't do much about it except for moan about how "Happy Holidays" is somehow an attack on Christianity.

You accentuating "CHRIST" in Christmas denotes the fact that you think Christmas is christian already by having the name "Christ" in it. You're wrong. It's a name. In many countries, this differs. For example, in mine, it's called Craciun. And Jesus Christ's name is "Iisus Hristos / Cristos". It's not a 100% christian holiday either, as it's origins are pagan. Have a Merry Christmas! -Fulf

The Christian church just converted it into something else, because Hey! If you can't beat them, 'join' them.
And no. It's not about 100% Jesus. It's also about Santa, the Christmas tree and reindeer.

Also, no. The tree and gifts are not a "celebration" for Jesus. Also, it's name doesn't necessarily state it's origin or relations. In my country it's named Craciun and Jesus Christ is names Iisus Hristos. Between Craciun and Hristos there are no common letters except "r" and "i". :P

For those who are not Christians, this time of year IS about spending time with one's family, and enjoying it. For some people, this is the only time we CAN spend time with our families, so why should we use that time to celebrate the birthday of someone else?

But, God sent Jesus, God's one and only Son to earth. He was sinless and perfect, but suffered more than we would in hell. He suffered in our place. We deserved what He went through. He didn't. So now, if we belive in this and repent from our sins, we can go to heaven. THAT'S why we celebrate Jesus' birth. : )

It doesn't really bother me as a Christian, and I didn't think that it would bother anyone else seeing as the ending song is religious themed.
