  • My friend just bought a used SE model Rainbow with all of the original attachments for $350.00 and it is picking up sooooo much sand and dirt that his kirby vacuum simply could not pick up!!!! It sooooo cool to see how filthy the water gets! I urge every and anyone to get a Rainbow if they truly want their home to be FRESH and CLEAN!!!!

  • Get one!!!! I do not sell them, but have been aware of them since I was 5 years old (now 42 years old) If you really want your carpet and home to be FRESH and CLEAN....get one, regardless of the year or model. They are sooooo well constructed and the average life span is in excess of 20 years! They clean just as good when they are 20 years old as the day it was new because it NEVER loses air-flow, which is the true ability to clean. Hope this helps!:)

  • IM INTERESTING FOR YOU MACHING, IM LIVE IN CALI-COLOMBIA, MY CEL PHONE IS 052-321 8018694

  • I just opened up an E Series I bought to clean it out...I can't see how the carbon dust would get to the HEPA past the motor gasket. It's a pretty good seal. Good thing, too, as the previous owner did NOT change the water frequently, and the ductwork and fan were filled with dirt. The HEPA filter was a nasty khaki color. :P

I promise to take much better care of it than did he. :)

  • How much did you pay?

  • @Kirbylover1600 $1,450.00

  • i got rainbow ^^

  • I bought my Rainbow 2 speed in 2006. The hepa filter on it is still brand new looking. I wonder if the emissions are only average on a Rainbow, wouldn't my hepa filter be filthy by now? It even smells new. I was kind of shocked. I change the water a lot when vacuuming though. The aquamate 3 looks like it would be great but I don't have one. That's gotta have a lot of extraction power with the Rainbow suction as opposed to the steam vacs that don't have a lot of extraction capability imo.

  • @Imfromaroundtheblock It probably is still new looking if you empty the water while cleaning since that motor is brushless it does not produce the black carbon dust that usually clogs hepa filters right away.

  • Abcrokid; so this is "just" an e2 with new decals? sounds less noisy than my parents e-series. going to get one... do you know what the retail is? the website has little information...

  • @shamrock1337tm Well the first two speed e series was Very very loud if they have that model. i paid 1,450 for mine.

  • @abcrokid is it a very loud machine? my uncle has a d4 se and it sounds a lot like a jet but not like this one. also how many rpms?

  • @celesteraez No its not too bad. Its about 80,000 RPMS

  • @Abcrokid jeez 80,000? i was told 2100!

  • @Abcrokid is the 2008 model different from the new one?

  • @celesteraez Nope.

  • Try an Aerus Lux Guardian Ultra.

  • One thing I really do love on the Rainbow is the newer brushless motor.Cleaner exhaust and smooth power.

  • @panaclean775 Yea I do like that about this machine

  • The Rainbows always got a somewhat average rating on emisions until they started putting a hepa filter on them.I always thought that was uncool because they bragged about how clean the emisions were with the water system only. They are really great machines.Built good.Good suction but the power nozzle is only fair at deep cleaning carpets. Not anywere worth the price tag. They should be priced down around the Kirbys at least.

  • @panaclean775 They always got average emissions ratings because consumer reports uses talcon powder and fine saw dust which the rainbow is not recommended for. I have an early consumers mag which rated the performance edition as very good for carpets but oddly the new e series scores lower. I guess the height adjustable wheels and redesigned base plate messed up the performance. You should never pay more than a kirby for one of these and if you do your a sucker.

  • with the never model they have the two filters right? how often do u have to replace them? because if its a lot i would rather just stick with the older ones like the d4c se one i have rather then upgrading and having to spend more on repair parts in the end.

  • It only has one filter to replace, the earlier e series had two. It is washable but I would just replace. As long as you dont pick up fine dust and other non wettables and keep the seperator clean the filter should last awhile. I find this model a little more convenient than the d4 since the dolly stores on the machine when not in use and the hose connections are easier.

  • Vacuum fetish?

  • thats horrible we've use it and we sent it back

  • Whats the differences on blue model and gold model on motor? Is it just by color?

  • The color and the fact that you can pick up water with the electric hose. But other than that nothing.

  • Oh yeahI forgot about that. lol Thanks for info. any new videos coming?

  • You should do Aquamate Vs. Steamvac.

  • Well i can almost guarantee you that the Steamvac would win.

  • @Abcrokid It's pretty lame that the shampooer of a $3000 vac system would get beat by a simple Hoover. Anyway in your opinion what is the best shampooer?

  • l love it. is hose for aqua mate is same as power nozzle or is more insulated ?

  • It is the same as the power nozzle and they insulated for the use with the new Aquamate. Both the standard and 15' hose I have are approved for use with the Aquamate.

  • Thats so cool I thinking get one for mine too.

  • you need to make another video about the rainbow... Show how the new aqua mate works

  • ok, I will next time I clean the rugs
