it is a celebration of culture from that side of the world, this performance is copied from a film called, zatoichi the blind swordsman, the final 5 minutes of that film is this, its oriental.
sigh, like i said. was just expressing my personal preference. this show to me is about celebrating china's culture. i have very pronounced memories about watching this as a child with my family back when i was in china. so to have it turned into some sorta foreign circus (again, my personal feelings), is unpleasing. anyway, to each their own. (also, tap dancing isn't my preference for entertainment. ever. so that's probly also why i don't want to see this stuff on cctv.)
@eternityras bollocks. This is Irish dancing in a moderns presentation but Irish dancing has a long heritage. Your comment just seems chauvinistic and deluded.
@heliotropezzz333 what does Ireland or Irish dancing's long heritage have to do with what kind of entertainment I want to watch? I never said I don't appreciate Ireland's history. I just don't want to see Irish dancing in this context.
