I'm 11 years old, and personally, this is one of my favorite movie scenes. For some reason, I'm more into older movies and music, and this is my favorite movies of all time, probably in tie with the Harry Potter series. Am I weird for being like that?

Timeless movie scene, but some of the worst film editing ever. I might be one of the 5% of people who notice it, but......look at the black guy in the background during the whole piano scene. I know I have read that this scene took hours to do and piece together, but the final outcome is jus horrible editing. The black guy is in the crowd, then it cuts to him walking into the scene, then he's back behind the crowd, THEN you see him walk back to that exact spot. Great scene, just poor editing.

I remember after this scene that guy Macmillan in this scene promoted Tom Hanks to Senior Vice President where Tom Hanks only worked in a cubicle in the beginning. Also at the end of the movie once Tom Hanks ran out of the meeting to go to the Zoltar machine to go back to his parents, maybe he has an excellent job opportunity working with Macmillan once he graduates from High School or college. That is, as long as Macmillan still works at the toy company and/or if the job stays open.
