  • OMG Scott Pilgrim was right!!!!! wow lol.

  • @Bytegurl713 Who's scott the pilgrim anyways?

  • what? screen splits at 255th level? you got that far?

  • @Jarad100 in some versions it does. and I never said I got that far without cheating. what are you talking about?

  • @BiffsGamingVideos It's just that I can't get past the third level! I also can't imagine how boring it must be to endure that far!

  • @Jarad100 Their are over 200 levels of pacman.

  • @jackattack681 Pac-Man crashes at level 255 with a split screen.max points: 3,333,360 points

  • I remember it was called Puckman in my English seaside town - so we must have imported in the Japanese machines.

  • @IAmClearlyTheBest you know, you could just do a search on the internet. Maybe wikipedia or mame or just in google.

  • @IAmClearlyTheBest You thought wrong. Sorry dude.

  • you are great!!!!

  • I think I would have perferred the F version, lol.

  • I did not know where I got the idea of a hockey puck. So, PacMan comes from some Japanese word meaning the motion of eating. I have heard about the tendency of the people to erase the part of the P. It is crazy that anyone would make a joke with the profane words.

  • great video!

  • Miss PAC-man on my iPod..:)

  • @umbsix You know Midway was going to call it 'Miss Pac-Man' but a couple of the women there pointed out that in one of the scenes there is a baby Pac-Man. if they are not married, then you know what that makes the kid? In the early 1980s that would be scandelous so they changed the name to Ms. Pac-Man to indicate it's a woman that could be or could not be married.

  • I used to shun away from Pac-Land, but it's actually a fun platformer.

    Another great review! :)

  • I was never good at Pac-Man but i still loved it and remember how epic it was. I had a Pac-Man t-shirt, i had Pac-Man sheets on my bed, i had the Tomy tabletop version that was yellow and shaped like Pac-Man, and i'm almost positive i had some sort of Pac-Man toy. Even bought the cereal once and watched the Cartoon. When i was a kid Pac-Man was up there with E.T. and Michael Jackson for popularity and epicness.

  • This and MsPacman are my favorite games of all time. I keep going back to these more than to other games. Of course KCMunckin on the Odyssey2 get's a lot of love as well. Great review!

  • Wow, that was CRAZY of Atari to pass this game up!! I didn't know that. I watched the cartoon series when I was a kid, it was actually pre-Transformers!

  • My all time favorite arcade game. : )

  • @jboypacman I can imagine! :)

  • @markvergeer lol .

  • hello

  • hahaha :() Puckman. what happened to Joy-man?

  • @glamourknight Joy-Man is a different game and thus deserves a different review.

  • Thank you for that detailed history.

  • good ole pac man. I think i still have a pac man pattern book around here somewhere. Pac man was serious business back then, i guess.

  • I always looooved packman! Great video mate :-D

  • this is a great video. damnit biff should have his own show, or be an official video game segment reporter for CNN or something.

  • @DeviousTelevision I'm working on it.

  • I'm really put off by the first line of the description. There should be no question about money or effort put forth, Youtube is for the fun of it not to try and make money off videos you post.

If you're not doing it for fun but expecting some kind of benefit you shouldn't be making videos...

  • @meatloaf666999 Actually, AVGN, irate gamer and Classic game room all make money doing videos. They can hire people to shoot and edit for them. i do it all myself. In 3 years, YouTube will be mostly pay anyways if you want anything other than some 12 year old in front of the camera. It's coming because people need to eat.

  • @BiffsGamingVideos I am a happy subscriber to Classic Game Room but I don't see or hear anything about him asking for subs, comments, and worst of all putting it in my face that I didn't have to pay him to watch his videos...

  • @BiffsGamingVideos I'v un-subbed please leave it at that and feel free to delete my comments, I would.

  • @meatloaf666999 Why would I delete your comments cause you un-subbbed? As long as they are intelligent and you don't cuss you can say whatever you want. I think you got me confused with AVGN. Sub or don't sub, I don't care. I average 9 unsubs a day according to the insights. I spend from 6 hours to 3 days working on each video & all i ask in return in about 10 seconds in return (which could be done while the video is going). Also, there are no stupid annotations over the videos either.

  • @BiffsGamingVideos Oh no it wasn't because I had unsubscribed its just because they don't contribute to the video or you in a positive way so I figured it would be more constructive to delete them so more prominent comments could be seen over my own.

  • @meatloaf666999

you're making a big fuss out of nothing

wow, making a comment and thumbing up a video is such hard work

damn it must strain the fingers when you press ''like''

    grow up

  • @jasamdomo I'm not making a fuss or putting down anyone/ anything...

I merely said I was put off by the comment and decided to unsubscribe why can't you respect that like BiffsGamingVideos did.

  • @meatloaf666999 I retract the last statement, but the rest holds true.

  • @meatloaf666999 Oh yeah,I forgot. This is for eveveryone. The part that I don't get paid and the disclaimer has more to do with 'fair use'. That way the copyright police will leave me alone. They have a way of hijacking a video, putting ads and annotations over top of them and geting the adsense money. I understand these points as I studied broadcast law in college. Most youtubers don't know. This way if ANOTHER one of my videos get hijackacked, I have recourse.

  • pac-man still make alot of money for arcade owners it's a classic that will never die

  • Billy Mitchell does not approve.

  • @Zenex666 Billy Mitchell is too busy playing Donkey Kong and having a really hot wife. I should interview him sometime, we are only a couple hours away.

  • every system exept the virtual boy -_-

  • @akumie Actually, according to planet virtual boy, there is a homebrew game of Pac-Man for it. Are you amazed at my video game knowlege now? How about Now? or Now. Ok, Ok. How about now? I've tried to buy their flash cart for the VB but they haven't made any in a year. Once they do, i will be able to copy ROMs (1 at a time) and then review them. the ones I reviwed I own, but have ROMs on my website to all of their games.

  • Comment removed

  • @BiffsGamingVideos I already have the flashboy (the vb cart you speak of)

Got one in august 2008 so hah

Second the pacman vb demo is shit, it even lags on hardware and is unplayable

Still I must admit that you do know your video games because I really never thought you would be a vb nerd like me

  • Comment removed

  • @akumie also it is not true that they have not made flashboys in a year, they do make them from time to time

They even just now made flashboy+ that can only have 1 game at a time but it has save feature so atleast you can play a save feature game until you load a new game

  • @akumie cool, i gotta pick 1 up. then I can review the other VGB games. thanks

  • @BiffsGamingVideos No problem

The only problem is that the flashboys are expensive, few are made threw out the month (long waiting time) and recording gameplay froma vb is almost impossible

  • @akumie well i shoot through the google. It doesn't look great but other than MAME, this is a no-emulation channel.

  • And still fun as h-e-double toothpicks to play.

  • Nice in depth video. I think you pretty much covered it from A-Z.

  • @MAMECADE Well, I used this footage and did another video that will be in a later series. it's done, just will wait to upload. That's easter eggs and stragegies. I talk about Pac-Man's 3 hidden spots, how the ghosts move and of course the correct maze paths.

  • nice reviews, but you can stop tallking about pacman...

  • @neofunface Well, I had the pac-man music and board games, so I reviewed them(more are coming). I needed video over the music, so I recorded pacman games. So now I am doing some arcade stuff so I already have video of pac-man games. It was a lot faster than starting from scratch. I'll get away from Pac--Man AFTER I review the Pac-Man fever album and singles.

  • This was pretty good.

    Really informative.

  • @GamerGuy337 Donkey Kong and Ms. Pac-Man are definites. In fact, I will be reviewing the Donkey Kong Album soon.

  • I can say I played a lot two games at the arcades:

    Tokio / Scramble Formation

    Rally-x

    lots of fun

  • @grinrause I forgot to say:

    Biff, your videos are great!

  • @grinrause Rally-X was a cool game. It's also tied into pac-man and pole position, but that's another story.

  • To start this series i picked the most well know arcade game of all-time. Space Invaders was considered as well as it kicked started the industry. So what are your favorite 1-5 arcade games? I may just do a videos about them.

  • @BiffsGamingVideos It's very hard for me to narrow a list down to a "Top Five," but here's an attempt, in no particular order:

    Tron

    Super Pac-Man

    Thief (and/or N.A.T.O Defense)

    Tempest

    Zoo Keeper

  • @progrocker69 Tron and tempest are definites. Although, disks of Tron was a killer game. You had to stand inside a cage and it gave a sense of depth as the screen seemed far away. You just can't get a fell using MAME on that 1.
