Nope, I didn't. Trust me, I watched and enjoyed it quite a bit. What's more, my comment was actually directed at that anime; to the episode of the anime that narrates the events of Mai's "Solo Mission" in OG2, to be precise.
Do you remember how awesome tearing through the DC remnants with MM sounding in the background was? Especially with the Wurger L?
They didn't get any of that awesomeness in the anime. There was a lot of crying, though; And MM wasn't used a single time.
I've heard they're making a second season of the Anime based on the events of OG2. I hope that they keep this version of the theme for when Mai shows up--it is just so awesome. :D
@DarkvindFromIllier Well his storyline was the canon anyway, so it's only logical. The plot elements of og1 were more Ryusei oriented aswell(Ingram, levi and other alpha1 stuff). Og2/Inspecteurs were more Kyosuke in Return. But yeah, the cg battles were pretty lame in many cases, unlike the inspecteurs which was awesome. Thanks to Og2 Kyosuke has a pretty good grip on being a important main character even if it is't his story. Ryusei still needs to his @3 story, so he has nothing to complain.
@ferryarthur actually he still needs like the 2nd half of his @1 story, considering they skipped most of the post Levi/Judecca bit from @1. Black Judecca, Ingram's Astranagan, Septuagin's big brothers to name the bigger troublemakers there, Levi was just the warm up in that one, basicly.
@ravageMK2 I thought they would just skip that, or they might be saving it for another OG, spreading the srx story out more. The srx didn't have an alpha 2 story ofcourse, so they might give that part to the OG equal of @2.
The Rivale kicked out the Astranagant apprently. And I think it was implied that Laodecia was inside Septuagint in OG1. There certainly was someone in there at the end of DW.
Nah, it's time to move on from @1. The Balmar and Gun Eden plots are ripe to get moving, we don't need to focus on cleaning up random stray ends. I seem to think the Machinery Children were in @2, meaning Ing's plotline can lead into there.
DANG ! DX they make it even more awesome!!!

@setsunafseieiGN0000 Sadly, they didn't. Or at least I didn't hear it. Fuck them, I was really looking forward to some Marionette Messiah. =S

@SwordSaint550
Huh? Did you completely miss out on The Inspectors? OG2 got an anime by a different studio and most people agree it's better than Divine Wars.

@PossessedbyPhoenix Only real downsides with DW is it focusing on Ryusei more than Kyosuke and the CGI mech battles can get boring...
