how many people from one country act as some one from another country. one example is hugh laurie from house. he's british but his character is american. no one seems to have a problem with that. i do not see why this is such a big deal
This movie should be recreacted as it had contained too much of Cambodian architural styles in it. The movie itself was great, but duplicationed of Cambodian culture into it had made the world confused it as Thai.
Yeah, kinda annoying but at least he's a good actor. I mean, I got annoyed when the same two women who were in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, were in Memoirs of a Geisha, and they and most of the cast weren't even Japanese.
to me it doesn't really matter what their race is. as long as they can act well and depict the character well race, religion, etc should not matter. it's all about capturing the essence of the film. if this chinese actor was better than any other thai actor they could find then so be it.
Now this was one motion picture that I actually did like. Jodi is brilliant as usual ! Epic !

Correct. You don't have to be a killer or a psycho to act as one. I think Chow Yun Fat did a great job and is agreat actor.

quit hating chou young fat. hes not thai but at least asian. better than having a white or european man play as king of thai.
