if only capcom did a better job in translating the original bof2. -_-'
truth be told, i beated the game dozens of times as a kid and i never understood the story. then after 4 years when the we finally had internet i came across a decent game script of what bof2 was really about and i was surprised that it had a very deep story.
i wish they made a decent remake of all bof titles.
@ShinrinCole The problem with the English translation version is that the amazing song in the version you have here was taken out and replaced with a shitty rock song.
Strangely enough (and this might just be anticipation talking), without being able to understand much of anything, the German version actually plays more smoothly than the original SNES version.
That's an awesome song. Anyone know where you can download it?
I hope the English re-translation for BOFII comes soon. I can't believe they completely left the jaw-droppingly awful translation alone for the GBA port. The game had such a great story, but the translation utterly killed it.
To my knowledge, the main coder of the English translation went MIA, but may still be around. The other team members are trying to get their hands on him to finish the English project. The last OFFICIAL update was from like... 2006.
Darn it, I love that song. They sped it up for this intro though... also, is this an SNES or a GBA-version patch? Huh.
wow the theme song is very haunting..I like it. ^^ I remember playing this game as well. Kinda makes you want to buy an old game system and hunt for them. ^^
This is awesome and I'd love to play this once they finish translating it into English. I've really liked BoFII ever since it first came out on the SNES over 10 years ago.
Bleu is a playable character in Breath of Fire 1, but a hidden character in the 2nd, Bleu is a Sorcer that Sealed Tyr thousands of years ago, and later on in the 3th you'll know that Tyr(called Mira there) is her sister
Simple reason actually, she's a HIDDEN character, you don't have to have her to progress the story line and beat the game. That's the reason Blue's not in it

Sweet intro and music. BoF2 is a superb game, one of the better RPG's on the SNES in my opinion.
