DRIVING PORSCHE 911 996 IN SNOW MINNEAPOLIS PART 1

I'm looking to buy 996 c2 so i few Qs. do you use winter tires? is the c4 worth the extra cost or the c2 does the job in winter? does the rwd porsche behave similarly like a front wheel drive front engined car?

@vvysoc Definitely get the most agressive snow tires you can buy, C4 is definitely worth the money if you live in an area which gets a lot of snow, if you get a C2 get one with traction and stability control, oh and don't forget the heated seats option :))

@Porsche911Carrera2 I'm thinking of getting c4 but c2 is less expensive and with better options so it's a toss up. Is maintenance and insurance expensive on the 996? thanks for commenting back.

@vvysoc Then get a C2 with more options, as long as it has traction and stability control you'll be fine. Get extended warranty for sure. Maintenence is not bad and insurance depends on you as an individual. Good luck!

Actually the RWD with engine in the back is great in the snow and lots of fun :) I know many people who drive their 911's in winter.
