That's so sad, it's so hard to see someone going through a situation like that. Unfortunately we all have some sort of a story like that.

I've also used the description like you, of seeming like 2 people- walking alongside yourself for many years. Memories are blurred because of that distraction. I wonder how many closeted guys have experienced the same disconnect in their life? I've found since coming out that memories are returning and I am more present and engaged inside and out in what I do and who i am! Beautiful now- tragic before...everything can be redeemed in some way. Thanks for sharing.
