Droids have so many parts in them. Probably one of the most complex guns part wise. But still an amazing gun I sold mine because the maintenance was ridiculous and I wanted the ego 09.

If you cant lube and replace 0-rings, you fail miserably and should stick to rental guns. Do you find breathing difficult too?

What kind of efficiency are you getting with the dwell at 8 ms? I just got my Droid (its broken in already), and I set the settings to stock because the previous owner messed them up.

Not really, it's how the bolt is designed. When the bolt is in the forward position it will only release the amount of air in the chamber- nothing more. As long as your dwell is high enough to empty this completely, you will see little to no difference in efficiency when going to a higher dwell.

But the lower dwell (and consequently higher pressure of air) means that there should be less air in the chamber when it's released. That is the only possible to improve your efficiency (on a Droid at least).

I did not touch my pressure at all. The velocity stayed the same going from 12ms to 8. The 4ms is just simply wasted time. Now, if you were using bad lube, cold temps, etc., you may need the extra dwell time to completely empty the chamber. But in warm(er) weather and proper lubing I've had no trouble at 8ms. Going to 7 drops my velocity about 50 fps and consistency is all over the place.

ABS may be high, causing the first shot to be shot a higher velocity, and thus sound louder.

I did with my DM6&7 with the UL frame. Hands are too small to do it comfortably with the Droid.

Not as tight? What is that implying? The craftsmanship on them is top notch. And the gap between the frame and the reg is there for a reason. You can wrap your entire hand around the reg giving you a solid grip. It's an awesome gun.

There's no doubt in my mind that it will go faster. I'm not sure what the limiting factor is for me right now, be it the electronics or my loader, but dry-firing with the eyes off it absolutely screams. I plan on trying different loaders and getting the Nox flash soon. Check back for more videos in the future.
