The Waveboard has a much tighter pivot, so moving forward is faster, and turning is also faster.

i am not sure this is true or not, just what i heard. i heard the plastic of the wave is better. and has better grip(well, thats true, i have a wave, and tried a ripstik). and more tricks can be done on the wave. BUT, the ripstik has better wheels(poly urethane wheels) with better casters. thats what i have heard. and the ripstik weight limit is 220 lbs. while the wave weight limit is 250pounds. the weight limit is true. the other stuf i think maybe or may not be true. whatever, same thinig.

The Ripstik is made by a TOY company. The Wave is made by a BOARD company. Not only that, The Wave was the first, the original, street surfing board. Street Surfing is the one who came up with the design. Razor totally ripped off Street Surfing. Their product is flimsy, wears fast, has much more plastic crap on it, and is not in any way as durable as The Wave. Do your homework. If you ride The Wave, you will see the difference easily.
