Which dennis ferrer track, may i ask?Obviously rich has looped it up and layered it with other techier bits i would imagine....sounds freakin awesome!
Anyone know the track with the funky bassline he mixes in at 2:26?
wish i was there incredible. one question for all? mr. jeff mills is a godfather of techno, why do we never see him live? he lives in chicago ill and i realize he can command much greater fees in europe and japan etc... but he should give some back to us lol. hes not even the best dj kinda harsh on the mix but made some of the best tracks ever dj's still play
I've never seen him live and the times i've seen him DJ i was really disappointed... boots in the dryer mix after mix and he didn't seem to care too much.
He was a great producer and helped define techno as we know it but I have yet to be impressed by any of his performances. I guess he makes enough from his production and he doesn't feel the need to perform live.
He is also infamous for being full of himself but i can't attest to that.
thanks for this great video bro... havent seen richie and the m-nus crew since the min to max tour in 96, brings back great memories. Im an old man now lolz... one day i'll make it to demf and burning man... hopefully burning man this fall and demf next memorial day weekend... peace bro... u rock
Seriously... I wish my camera had a better mic :-/
I think a good chunk of DEMF was recorded line-out style so we may see "live at DEMF" mixes coming out in the near future. I think there's also an issue of recording rights, label contracts, etc... but that is easily sorted out.
I agree though, these live sets are golden, especially for those of us lucky enough to attend.

When will these guys (Hawtin, Vath, Villalobos, Cox, etc.) wise up and start producing and selling HQ audio of these amazing live sets?
