Are you using ink or paint for her hair (the beginning layers)? Beautiful art and lovely video. The music was wonderful to listen to also!

The hair is layered black acrylic paint. It's watered down a bit, so that is why it looks like ink. The rest is tissue paper for texture. :)

I love your work. Can you beeswax over that effect you use with the tissue paper? The color pencils you used on the canvas, was that watercolor? Nice work. Me gusta la cancion Mariposa tambien... Great Job!

I am going to assume that you can, although I think the bees wax's texture will obviously have an effect on the final product. The girl's face was drawn on watercolor paper with graphite pencil and watercolor pencils. :) The hair was black acrylic paint.

OMG! I love this one! She's sooooo beautiful! I LOVE HER HAIR! I cant do hair well, and i love hers. Wow! 5* How did you get the 3-d effect for the hair?

I took white tissue paper and rolled it up until they resembled strings. I then pasted them on my canvas and then painted over them. My art mentor Mr. C actually made the suggestion, I liked the way it came out. Thanks for stopping by!

Vista Monsters scare me. I want to make them go away. :D Ice trays ROCK woman, although I think they work better with washes. Keeps them in a safe compartment with minimal mixing.
