okay so to see if I got it right: I have vista installed on my computer, and if I download kubuntu, install it, my computer will run that instead of vista? im so sick of vista... but im a gamer, what games can i run? and will something crash? man this is confusing...
Dear Mr. Jason, Kindly tell us about installing Ubantu OS or one of the other Ubuntun OS family on old computers; my computer is 733 MHz, 192 MB RAM with 5 GB HDD, would I be able to install any one of them on my computer.
Thanks, and I appreciate your efforts educating people about the new OS.
hmm. I honestly doubt any of the ubuntu would work on that computer. Most ubuntu setup takes around 3 gb to 4 gb of hdd at least, and needs at least 1 ghz processor, so i really doubt it'll run.
how to install not to set it up lol noob

znpower, you should be able to install Xubuntu on your 733mhz pc with 192mb. I recommend Xubuntu 8.04.
