As you can clearly see before the spin, Gordon was catching Kensth. The TNT (or NBC?) replays conclusively show Kenseth's car not getting off the corner. Was a racing deal (Unlike other incidents like R. Gordon vs. Biffle 2004 NHMS).

I was at this race and I'll tell you what - Gordon did not deserve to win this one. Kenseth led almost all day and Gordon clearly wrecked him.

I remember this race. Gordon didn't spin him out on purpose. Matt got lose in the turn and Gordon couldn't avoid him in time. If you go and find a replay you will clearly see this. Even if you have to remember when matt spun gordon at bristol the same year. That wasn't even for the lead, it was cause matt was mad he lost the lead and took it out on the closest car.
