I also heard from people who read the comics, and they hated that as well. In fact, they like the movie better, since it was less of an attempt to be 'IN YOUR FACE' and 'EXTREME" than the comic. Seriously, the comic as a character made out of faeces and a Joker analogue that claims to have sex with goats. And the Eminem-like protagonist still just plain insult the reader at the end (although that could be some kind of joke).
