This isn't the Syncmaster. Why does everyone keep doing this? Everyone insists on naming their review videos Syncmaster XL2370.

This is the Monitor version. The XL2370 not the Syncmaster XL2370. As a result, it is sexier, an thinner compared to the Syncmaster version.

@UKFX Umm, yes it is the syncmaster. You can see it on the top left corner of the screen, Im using one right now, and if you still dont believe me, its digital signature even says Syncmaster.

@UndeadSlasherX360 I know that but what actually meant was that the Syncmaster, which does everything, TV, even more inputs (hence more deserving of the title) is slightly different. Fortunately, I got rid of both my XL2370HDs. The first due to the bad choice of touch sensitive buttons and it turning itself on, an the second for the same reason including a squeaky stand. I settled for a LG LD450 32" telly. :) Be keeping my trusty Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW for PC though ;) lol Had this like 4 yrs

dotn get this monitor--- I have it sitting next to my new Dell u2311H (which is an ips monitor) and let me tell you the samsung and every other monitor looks like CRAP compared to this Dell monitor which is about the same price!!! Just thought I would help out. Please thumbs up to help people see this.

cnet reviewer is very very bias about the review,even bumping with the monitor is gentler compared other monitor reviewed,they even show samsung commercial at first,like in the review acer S243HL and other monitor,are you paid by samsung to hype this monitor they even have a girl to feel insecure about the samsung LCD.lol,thats how money can do to this people, even do they look dumb.

Guys i have a very silly question (for you, but not for me XD) to make: in the video the man says the monitor has both digital and analog connectors; He's talking about audio connectors, right? In that case, the analog one is the one a normal pc uses as well (the cheaper one), isn'it?

thepostman20, you can adjust the gamma to level 2 of three and the screen will be a lot brighter, so when you are in bed it can improve the viewing angles.

I changed my color settings to 50 red 48 green and 31 blue, looks better the grays now, gamma 3 and gamma 1 if you want to see more clear images...no magic color makes the gamma behave rare, 89 contrast , 100 bright in movies..

Since I will be watching a lot of movies on this thing, and my bed is slightly lower than my desk, will I still be able to get a good picture from this when viewing from say 5 degrees lower???

According to Cnet Samsung looks better with the movies and destroys LG LED 24" (in reality mesures 22.7 inch) vs Samsung LED 23" (22.5 inches)...

My settings are 50 Red / 46 Green / 25 Blue Contrast 89 / Bright 100 Movies and 37 in Text.

Gamma 3 / No Magic Color / No Dynamic Contrast

Texted with xbox360 HDMI 1.3b cable and works great. No lag or blur.
