i totaly agree they are capable of making a much better album than this saw them at sonisphere and they played pretty much the whole of this album i actually felt a little offended at what i heard it even seemed like they knew they made a bade move by not playing anything from lights. the only songs of their set that got people going was hit the lights (which they only played coz metallica played the day before) and warriors of time lets just hope the next album is better
It kind of seems like they're ashamed of their debut album since they never seem to play anything off it live like you said. If they carry on with the sound they have on Post Mortem they're going to lose the fans they gained from Lights From Above and will be left with a bunch of girls who think You Me At Six are the next Metallica <3
I completely agree. There first album was like a fresh take on classic metal but they were kinda unique now they sound like everybody else and its just poor and generic!
@KyaanDay16 at what point did I say Bullet don't make great albums? And when did I say I was a "true fan"? Although I fail to see how disliking something a band does makes someone less of a fan. Look at how many hardcore Metallica fans hate St Anger and Garage Inc before you talk shit.
@krullsk they played 6 songs each time and only played one song from Light From Above? Bit weird. It doesn't really matter how old Gabriel Garcia was when Light From Above was made, fair enough they've all grown up and matured but this album could've been made by just about anyone, it's completely generic and for the most part bland. Cool you like it but it's not for everyone.
Worst thing about Black Tide is that they don't even play anything off of Light From Above in their set. It's beyond disappointing since they've stepped up their live performance big time, which makes me want to hear better live versions of their old songs, but nooo, it's as if the album never existed. Which is why I've never even listened to Post Mortem, since it's pretty much a totally different band.
@FMinor211 i saw black tide on uproar and they played warriors of time and i don't know why everybody hating on them when they made light from above he was 14 yrs old and now he grew up and i think there new album is amazing
Great review. I prefer classic thrash metal but I actually like BFMV it s not really the change of style that bothered me though I would prefer they didn t change as much. What i noticed is even for something like BFMV it was bad. Well, I hope they come back with something better next time caus like you said they are totally able to. As soon as I will have some time I ll watch ur other vid. Try to see mine i play some guitar in them ;) Rock on !

@COG168 BMTH really? I always found them to be really sweet, I know Oli Sykes is ridiculously shy and it comes off as him being quite arrogant but he's probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I wouldn't bother getting Post Mortem, it's bad!!!! <3
Yeah like bmth they wer so stuck up it was mad like they wer to good to talk to any of us after I got to hang out with lamb of god I don't really listen to them to much now days is like to see killswitch tho that would be great :D
@COG168 they're brilliant to hang out with, I've met some smaller bands who seem to think they're as big as Metallica and act like the cockiest prats ever but Black Tide were really humble and treated everyone like they'd been friends with them forever, made me love them even more er as people at least rather than musically. <3
