This video was taken WAY after the fire had been extinguished. Overhaul phase with crews working to find hot spots, not ventilating in this video. Fire was reported and fought much earlier in morning long before sunrise.
awesome trucks and equiment, im a firefighter from peru... here we work with trucks that have 30 years old and we are volunteers we dont get payed for this work but we love it... grettings from Tacna - Peru... Ladder 99
@DEADPHISHproductions There are a few different reasons why foam is used instead of water, mainly foam acts as a smothering agent and is much safer to use around electrical fires as opposed to water. In some instances, certain chemicals will have an adverse reaction to just plain water. In the instance of fighting wildland fires, usually just water is used when helicopters are picking it up out of rivers and lakes as it is more of a "natural" way to fight wildland fires. Hope this helps.
