@capricious71 So, this is a relapse, plain and simple. Alcoholics are told repeatedly there is no such thing as one drink since it's a progressive disease. I have lose many family members and friends who thought it was okay to have a beer. It always escalated to the point that they were in worse shape that before they quit. That's just a given with the disease. If you folks defending Bush actually cared about the man you wouldn't co-sign his denial. Become educated about the disease.

Believe it or not, we used to act more like real Christians when we passed Medicare because 50% of the elderly were living in poverty. Since the Regan administration and GOP control of the message they have us turning on each other, worried that you might have to help someone else...and they call that Christian to boot.

Well, First off you ask why it would not be on the U.S. News? That tells me you are either 10 years old or very ignorant to the fact that ANY country would feel best not to show it. Are you serious. I have been to many places all over the world, and Europe is not one to be talking down to the U.S. by any means. The problem is the whole economic crisis that happened while he was in office. It was caused by the people but instead of taking responsibility they just looked for a scapegoat to blame it on, so they chose Bush. I feel bad that it got blamed on him as it would have gotten blamed on WHOEVER was the current President.

@PMChampagne8 If they thought it was his fault they wouldn't re-elect him, yes, that's right. However, we don't hold presidential elections every day (only once every 4 years). He was already re-elected for his second term in 2004 prior to the economic crisis in 2008. So he was used as a scapegoat and wasn't eligible for any further terms.
