Panzergrenadiere are mechanized infantry. Originally Grenadiere were soldiers with grenades. Because only the tallest and strongest were picked, it later became a name for elitie units. Panzer means tank, armour, or armoured car. However, mechanized infantry would be the best although not literal translation for panzergrenadiere.

At 2:50 the 3 Panzergrenadiers are from the 12th SS "Hitlerjugend", the Fallschirmjaeger's are From FJ6 Attached to 17th SS "Gotz Von Berlichingen During the Battle for Carentan .
yeah youre right. I think they were sunk on the same day too. The Japanese were very good fighters...the Italians on the otherhand...without Rommel they would have been pushed out of Africa MUCH earlier. I think if they had started with rommel, the axis would have taken North Africa.
Panzergrenadier was a type of soldier...the Waffen-SS were mainly them and tankers and the Heer had lots of them also. Also the normal SS didn't fight, that was what the Waffen(armed) SS was for, and the Heer and the Kriegsmarine together make the Wehrmacht, it's not seperate.

NPD is in Sachsen, in 1 of 16 federal parlaments, and in a clear minority. Dont overestimate them they have nothing to say. And you talk about WW2 because you just started 1990 (thanks!) while our other neighbours started to talk with us in the late 1940s just after the war.

Panzergrenadier was a type of soldier...the Waffen-SS were mainly them and tankers and the Heer had lots of them also. Also the normal SS didn't fight, that was what the Waffen(armed) SS was for, and the Heer and the Kriegsmarine together make the Wehrmacht, it's not seperate.

Germany wanted to invade France and Great Brittain for revenge, but it was only Hitler (and a few other madmen) who wanted to invade USSR. Never forget that the majority of the people wouldn't have approved with Hitlers actions after 1940 if they would have had something to say, which they hadn't. Germany didn't invade Poland because they wanted to "conquer the world" they invaded because they wanted to unite east prussia with Germany, and the polish bolsheviks were murdering thousands of Germans in the Danzig region. so as u can guess east prussia and danzig welcomed them as liberators. the reason the poles were so pissed was cuz they didnt have control over a crucial trading port- the danzig, and also because they couldnt murder any more Germans

just a quick note to przemyslawo. the post WWII border between germany and poland was very unfair to the germans in that 100,000's of people were forced to leave their homes and relocate in what had been their family's home for 100's of years in areas like stettin and konnigsberg. And im not one of those nazis trying to preach about how great hitler was. Im a democrat in America, not a nazi in germany

I found that these words have slightly different meengins in polish and english. In english they are sometimes used as synonims.
But in polish nationalism has negative connotation. It is attitude of considering your nation more importent than others, it's often xenophobic. Patriotism has positive connotation. Patriot loves his homeland, and is capable of sacrifice for it.

Becouse memory about the past is very important for Poles. Becouse we were ally that lost the most as a result of WWII. Effect of WWI was Soviet domination over Poland for 45 years. We still feal effects of WWII. For example our weaker economic position.

NPD is in Sachsen, in 1 of 16 federal parlaments, and in a clear minority. Dont overestimate them they have nothing to say. And you talk about WW2 because you just started 1990 (thanks!) while our other neighbours started to talk with us in the late 1940s just after the war.
