At one period around 1968 and 1969 some Rolling Stones songs actually sounded better than the Beatles like Jumping Jack Flash and Midnight Rambler from their live at MSG LP in 1969
The closest thing to happy soul and funk the Beatles ever sang was Lady Madonna. Too bad they didn't sing a lot more funk and soul songs instead of those stupid retard lyrics and too many depressing songs like they did after the Since I Saw Her Standing There era. The Beatles would have sounded fine with me if they stayed with the 1963 and 1964 Rock And Roll Music and Since I Saw Her Standing There songs instead of too much of that boring dopey depressing 1965 to 1969 crap
