this is the LOC DME EAST 26 circling to 08 procedure, a standard procedures when the conditions are good enough for it. Coming in over RTT onto the offset LOC for 26 and than brake off the LOC overhead ABSAM to fly a right downwind over the plateau in the Inn valley. The turn on final is the difficult part, pilots need to be certified especially for this approach. At some points at this approach the difference between plane and ground is like 100 ft...

All correct except for the 100 feet (unless you mean right before touchdown, like on all approaches). The height in the turn is around 1000 feet.

Yes it is. A 180° turn on short final combined with a dive into the valley!

This 'IS' the go around! The second video follows the full stop landing. The initial missed approach wasn't filmed, it seems as though the intial shock of the procedure had pursuaded the author to film the event.

Die Piloten der LAUDA-Air (Boeing 737) hatten bis vor einigen Jahren die Genehmigung nach Absolvierung einer speziellen Prüfung diesen Anflug in einem noch engeren Radius mit Sinkflug zu absolvieren. Das Resultat - am Ausgang der Kurve trafen sie praktisch die Landebahn. Habe das selber miterlebt (Antalya - LOWI). Komme aus Innsbruck - hoffe auf noch mehr Vids.

find ich nicht...man plant ja alles im vorraus und solange du in der kurve die geschwindigkeit und höhe unter kontrolle hältst ist das nicht anspruchsvoll...einfalls ein bisschen mehr als normale anflüge, aber nicht viel
