To all ikiribati and even those who might be willingly to share ideas about making a different in life .sooner or later kiribati will be under water as most studies have predicts however we can still make a different. Nature itself can patched it's self through our help. it's just need more effort and knowledge to figured out this problem.
Kiribati residents get little empathy here on You Tube; flippant responses suggest these people are disliked. Another low-lying island that will have to deal with the problem is Manhattan, so the people there can expect the same wiseguy responses, I suppose. There seems to be a division in people as to whether they comprehend future possibilities or are limited by their IQ to the immediate present. Maybe they have never had anything they really valued, or known anyone they really loved.
Move to a different island when mortlock islands got in global trouble Pohnpei island gave them peoples a place to live when the chaos was over some mortlockies went back and some stayed and still resided on the garden island of Pohnpei but I do feel bad for our island nations especially the smaller islands
@Tonkadude1001 dont be narrow minded, moving to different locations inside a country is a totally a different thing than moving away from your country to another. Kiribati is slowly disapperaing from the map and in a few years these people will have to move somewhere else. nowadays all lands that can be lived by humans belongs to some country, you cant just get your boat and your family and build a house there, be realistic, im sure you dont want this people immigrating to your country do you?
What is happening in Kiribati is called "Post-glacial rebound" look it up.. The islands are sinking.. CAP AND TRADE is not right.. And these people are NOT victims of man made global change, rather by mother nature.
You could stop all carbon pollution tomorrow and this place will still sink! I feel for the people, and charitable organization should be the ones helping, as well as the people of there own country. ** LOOK UP "Post-glacial rebound" **
the rivers drop and sea level rise and they said their would never be life in the salton sea. Things change over time to keep us from becoming board, complacent, unyealding. You know
i love how they are using paradise locations as their case studies. in a sense they are saying: " if we dont stop global warming paradise will be lost. we will live in a world without beauty and comfort." HUGE bias
way to go greenpeace...way to toy with ppls emotions. GW is less about objective science and more about psychological manipulation.
how can we take pragmatic action against GW when its driven by overblown emotional impulses rather than science?

Go live somewhere else... I had to when the banks took my dads farm.

@Tonkadude1001 Except you didn't have to take an entire culture with you. For some people, their home means more to them than it does you.

"I want world leaders to stop climate change". Would you like inter-dimensional time travel with that too? Son, you're dumb.

@njc67 Assuming they have great top-notch schools in small islands like that. Also I'm sure he meant reduce it by cutting their emissions.
