The Supreme Court of the land will hear arguments on Friday this week to determine if Obama is truly a natural born citizen of the US.
If they say he is not, there will be riots.
If they refuse to hear the case, they will lose credibility and possibly start an underground movement.
If they agree to hear this case, and just keep kicking it down the road, postponing it interminably, that would probably be the safest thing they could do in the short term

Obama was a Senator for over 10 yrs, where he wrote & cosponsored many pieces of legislation. He taught US Constitutional Law at a top law school for 14 yrs. Graduated top of his class at Harvard w/ a minor in economics & Pres of HLR which led to many high paying job offers, but he *chose* to use his abilities to help avg Americans.
Palin has undergrad in journalism after attending 5 avg colleges, was a weather girl and yes, governor of smallest populist state. Guess there's always 2012~

I'm good with his selections so far- they are all intelligent and well qualified, with diverse political ideologies that will give him good range of perspectives. The change comes from the new leadership and direction that Obama will provide.

President-elect Obama has been talking about adding $600 billion to national debt by implementing a huge stimulus package. Obama has also promised to extend tax cuts that he had previously promised to end. Obama has kept Robert Gates and the Iraq war after promising to replace Gates and end the war. Libs fell for his lies, as ususal without vetting him first, just like they did with Slick Willey. Libs are the suckers of the earth who will get us all killed eventually, and perhaps soon.

Most of the things you mention are not truly socialism.
I would keep taxes at a bare minimum, enough to provide for an adequate military. One size fits all legislation to provide administration of schools and roads is bad.
The same money that supports FDA, fire and police, roads, and national parks is available from esentially the same sources but without the waste involved in laundering it in DC.

The judge in Pennsylvania who threw the lawsuit out, didn't establish any truth about Obama's citizenship. He just ruled the plaintiff didn't have standing to sue. This is still up in the air and will come floating back down to earth during this first term.
It is vitally important that our laws be obeyed. If Obama is not qualified to run for the office of President, or by extension not qualified to serve as President, he will be deposed.
