  • Thanks for your video!!!! I have been going through menopause and I am definitely going to try the WP. I am going to find me a provider asap. I have been researching the WP and am glad you like it. That's all I needed to know...

  • Thanks again for your reply. And good luck to you!

  • HI! Thanks for the quick reply! Well that isn't a bad thing! ;) Another question if you don't mind: do you do all the various WP hormones? ie estrogen, progesterone, testosterone? I know they also have thyroid and cortisol too. Did your WP Dr. test you for all of them or just some of them?

  • @taaverill So far, I'm only on estrogen and progesterone. I'm not low enough in any other hormone yet to need replacement.

  • Hi Shannon: your videos are great, I've been looking for info on the WP and there's so much conficting info out there. Are you still doing well on the WP? I've had ok results with bhrt--better than without anything for sure--but not great and am considering changing my bhrt to more of a WP. How are you now?

  • @taaverill Hi there! I'm still a WP advocate, though I'm dealing with increased libido issues. ;)

  • Hi Shannon, yes, it is a story to tell, I will do a video, just not at the moment, there's a lot going on and timing is everything. How are you now? I am still on level two!

  • @suregem I'll privately message you so we can carry on this conversation in depth.

  • Shannon I share your excitement. It never goes away, I feel young, vibrate & my health has never been better. I'm in London, using the Wiley Protocol for 14-months. When monthly cycles stopped, my body stopped functioning in just about every bodily system. The WP restored my monthly cycles, & I love them, all is well. My WP testimonial is on the WP website- titled, 'I tried the menopause and it was not for me' by Marie Hart. It's a miracle that I lived to tell my experience.

  • @suregem WOW. It sounds like your story is worth telling. Have you created a video of your story?

  • HI Shannon, loved your share - thanks. How are you doing now?

I'm going to do this myself.

Re: your desire to lose more weight - you may wish to consider food sensitivity testing - this can also affect mood changes (spare yourself the lobotomy!); For example, is estimated 30% of US population is sensitive to gluten...I'm looking into doing the ALCAT testing for myself.

    Good luck!

  • @firefly321123 I'm doing great now. Thanks for asking! I lost 14 pounds using HCG and have kept it off. I plan to do another round in a week or so to lose the last 5 pounds. I don't think the weight gain had anything to do with food intolerance. I think it was a symptom of aging & hormone decline. Thankfully, I've got the hormones balanced now. I suspect the only intolerance I might have is carbs! I seem to react to them immediately by gaining some pounds, feeling lethargic & craving more.

  • Shannon - how is the Wiley Protocol working for you at the moment? I found a doctor in London and am on BIH. A lot has improved for me i.e. hot flushes gone (finally) foggy head gone, sleep better BUT low energy/depression still there. Wondered if you have any lingering symptoms?

  • @annzo23 the only disappointment I've had with the Wiley Protocol were that I have to face periods again & with that comes the overwhelming emotions for one day a month. I was facing that before menopause anyway, and then it seemed like I faced it more often during menopause. I wish there was a natural way to get rid of that altogether. I know there are drugs like zoloft or prozac, and there is always lobotomy! lol I just use B12 injections as well as Vit D supplements to help.

  • @shannonblogs I know how you feel! Sometimes I wish I was more like a man is emotionally! Thank you for going through the process - I dont feel so alone with all this. Good luck with your diet!

  • Shannon - I'm still considering taking bioidentical hormones and wondered what it was about the Wiley Protocol in particular and bioidentical hormones in general that satisfied you that the hormones were safe? or have you taken the approach that it is a risk but as you feel better it is worth it?

  • Thanks for inquiring! I think there is always a risk when you work with hormones, but my thinking is that there is MORE risk in declining hormones or non-identical pharmaceutical hormones. I liked the idea of rhythmic dosing rather than static dosing because that mimics what your body does naturally. The Wiley Protocol was the only system I could find that follows the natural cycle of a woman.

  • I am still on the protocol. However, the pharmacist (with my doctor's permission) switched me from the progesterone cream to progesterone tablets that I take at night according to the Wiley schedule. My body was not absorbing the progesterone, so I was bleeding early every cycle. I have felt great, just don't like having a period every 2-3 weeks! ALL my negative symptoms have disappeared...

  • (including bleeding early now) with the exception of my weight, which I'm taking care of easily with the HCG diet (see my other videos). I'm certain that you can use the Wiley Protocol in the UK, even if you come up with your own dosage according to the lunar calendar. If I were you, I'd contact the Wiley people via their website and ask for their help. It's truly been a lifesaver for my health.

  • Shannon Thanks for this. I'm the same age as you and suffering from the same symptoms. Found out about the Wiley Protocol from research on the internet. How is the treatment going? Would really like to see if this works for me but not sure if they have Wiley practioners in England, UK where I live. Like you on the outside I look fine but inside I cannot stand the symptoms any more.
