TV Terrorland you're the most!!!! Killer cast, the gold standard for TV& Film in the 60's and 70's- and directed by John Lewellyn Moxey (sp) he did a bunch of these and his are the better crop at least in my opinion- thanks so much!!!!!
Pretty clearly a first pass at what later became "The Magician" with Bill Bixby, also produced by Bruce Lansbury in 1973, or thereabouts. In fact, the scene in the tattoo parlor appears almost verbatim in an epsiode of The Magician.
Interesting to see Gloria Grahame in many of these 70's TV-movies.--I like Chistopher George in these movies-My favorite is House on Greenapple Road--It's a shame he died young
great seeing this. this was a pilot film for a series that did not get picked up. air date was 04/06/71. About a private eye who was also Harry Houdini like.
This is by far the greatest channel ever! Please keep these tv classics coming. The seventies were the best time for scary tv movies, before video machines took over this was the only way I would get to see scary stuff on tv!
@frankd1965- this reminds me of "It Takes a Thief"- remember? @tapeduk- I love Christopher George, James Franciscus too, do you remember him?
