My favorite part of the intro is the last couple of bars before the first verse where Tommy does the "Bonham-style" bass drumming. You can tell He was heavily influenced by john. This guy, if he took the time to listen carefully, he is missing 75% of the song. He'll still get some ass though cause girls dont care that he cant play like tommy.
I also see a lot of straying in this piece. But I know how it feels to kind of do what you feel in someone else's song and putting your own groove into it. Dude looks into it, he obviously likes what he does, keep on rockin'
Yeah, Tommy does. This fellow is cutting corners a bit and playing wrong sometimes, especially the middle part. But, I always see drummers playing things so untrue to the song. Makes me wonder if I should learn songs to an absolute tee.
