  • Me again. On saving. I usually SAVE AS a jpeg on my desktop. When I open it from my desktop it always opens in PSE. How do I save it as just a picture? Thank you for all your patience with us newbies.

  • @karenhopeless Once you install PSE, it takes over as the viewer for JPG images. If you are using Windows, you need to right-click on the image on your desktop. Select Open With then Choose Default Program. Click on Windows Photo Viewer then make sure the Default box on the bottom left is checked. Then all jpgs will open with Windows Photo Viewer.

  • Karen here again, I just noticed you have written instructions for this video. That is great as I usually have my pages open and struggle with typing the steps as you do the video. Are the written instructions available with most of your tutorials/

  • @karenhopeless I just started going back through my tutorials and writing the instructions. I started with the most recent and have been working my way back through the old ones. When I get written instructions uploaded, I will put the link in the description. It was a suggestions from another viewer. I do my best to incorporate suggestions as soon as possible.

  • Another great tutorial. Question, after completing the project is there another step to saving it? Such as flattening?

  • @karenhopeless Great question. I usually save my projects as photoshop documents (psd) files so I can go back and edit the layers if needed. I then make a second copy by going to Save as or Save for Web. Thanks for the suggestion. I will start to include the saving options in my tutorials.

    Cheers.
