This is really painful to watch - and it's nothing to do with weight either. It's the fact that Mariske is forced to mime a 22 year old recording with a bunch of younger musicians who never played on the original record. It looks sad and desperate when older acts get wheeled out on oldies shows like that miming to their original records 20 or 30 odd years after the fact. Looks wrong and fake.

At those time I performed my song ,,Forgive me Gella,, Song about our ,,FIRST LOVE,, which one are coming to us only one time....And I found this girl Gella after 40 LONG YEARS. This is not the original 1969 studio recording. It is slightly slower and her voice is lower. The guitar is different in some parts and most all of it sounds live. I guess when you play a song over and over for 20 years you get it down.

I used to sing this song when I was in a cover band.

When I saw this video which was recorded in 1991 I was expecting to hear how the band sounded live in 1991. I was surprized when I saw [and heard] that they were just playing along to their original 1969 recording of Venus. Older, or fatter does'nt matter but singing and playing along with a recording you did over twenty years ago does.

It's the same version. You can see Skocking Blue as the were in 1991, but they didn't play live. They made playback with the recording of 1969. At the end of the song you can hear the sound fading. So there is playback,
